Did you know that "tying the knot" comes from the Irish tradition of handfasting, to bind the couple one to the other? Handfasting was the typical ritual in Ireland way before anyone thought about rings.

In the photo below, I was honoured to officiate for a couple who requested smudging for purification. As a multi-faith minister I offer my respect to your culture, traditions, spirituality, and/or religion. I embrace no-religion as well. My only criteria for you is that you love each other!

I would love to officiate your wedding. Everything from short and sweet to elaborate and traditional. My home base is Belleville, and I serve the Quinte region (and Kingston). Please get in touch for my availability. We can definitely meet first to ensure a good fit. :)
