I love collaborating with amazing vendors!

This was my large event where Mad Hatter Catering & Events provided cocktail food with a cocktail bar, dinner buffet with a drink station, full table bar and a large dessert spread. Often I have multiple vendors for those categories. It was very convenient having one vendor do so much. It went fantastic!

✨Yesterday was pure magic✨

So much came together to make this wedding a dream come true for these two. Challenges and setbacks tried to deter this day but these two and their family bound together and pushed forward and WOW! It was worth it. The energy, the excitement, the joy were at every turn.

A huge thanks to my amazing vendor team- it took each of your and your incredible talents to bring this beautiful vision to life!

I also want to thank the Warner family for allowing me to donate their gorgeous flowers to The Blake in Kingsport. These flowers will bring joy all week as the residents celebrate Thanksgiving!

💍WEDDING BUSINESS UPDATE💍

I think it’s time to give an update on Hollandsworth Photography and what all we provide for weddings! 2025 and 2026 brides here’s the perfect time for an update!

1️⃣ First, our main focus is our photography business. This month our business is 9 years old! We have photographed close to 250 weddings at this point.

2️⃣ Wedding days, you always get Nickie and I. There is the rare occasion Nickie is not available, but you will know that upon inquiry. Nickie is not an automatic second photographer unless that service was purchased, but what is automatic is her assistance to myself and also you, the bride. She is a game changer for us, so helpful and previous brides, you know what I mean! So with us, you automatically get our duo team.

3️⃣ We also provide video! This is an add on to any wedding. We do not provide video coverage alone unless it is in the months of January - March. Again, our photography business in our main focus.

4️⃣ Nickie has started providing “Behind the Scenes Content”! Nickie is only able to do this when she is not the second photographer all day and when we do not provide videography.

5️⃣ A lot of our brides are interested in Bo***ir and Nickie does this as well!

With myself being the main photographer/editer, this frees Nickie up to be able to do so much. We always try to keep our business evolving and hopefully one day growing. We are so thankful for our 2024 couples thus far and truly appreciate each and every one of you all! You guys make us some blessed people!

Hello all. So sorry for being slightly MIA for the month of October. I definitely set a record for myself haha I had 16 weddings 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉also insert a slightly tired emoji haha but, I have the BEST and I repeat, the BEST couples, extended families, vendors, etc which make it all worth it. October was FUN - I have 6 more weddings to close out the year - let’s go.

That being said, I will now attempt to post my orders from the month of September and October haha

BTS with JamiEvents This wedding has a beautiful story. The weather forecast was not our friend on the morning of the wedding, 50% chance of scattered showers throughout the day. As a planner there is very little worse to hear. I want to give my client plan A, the outdoor ceremony of her dreams, but also want to be realistic with the chance of heavy rains in the evening. So, with the help of one of my favorite venues, @the_millstone, we set up two ceremony sites. One indoor and one outdoor. And for the first time in the history of my company, we got to use both. We started at the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site, decorated by the talented @simplyyoursandco and partway through the vows, the rainstorm hit. The bride gave me a quick nod, and we all rushed inside to finish the ceremony at the cozy and Romantic, indoor ceremony location. Having a experienced planner will give you the peace of mind that no matter what is thrown at us on wedding day you have somebody in your corner, thinking ahead and troubleshooting in the moment. My staff was amazing on wedding day and had the room flipped for dinner within 25 minutes. With the right planning and assembling the right team, dreams do come true. A little sample of my Millstone weddings

Another double wedding weekend for @jamieventstn. This first wedding was at Millstone and there was such a sense of peace and joy in the air. I was able to be this sweet bride's wedding planner, which meant I helped her create her wedding team according to her style. We put together a true dream team and even with a few vendor hiccups toward the end, we filled in with incredible replacements. I knew this day would go smoothly when the team came together because everyone on the team was professional and excellent at their craft! From set up to clean up, the clients were able to enjoy their day while the pros did their thing. Having a wedding planner vs a wedding coordinator makes a huge difference! Stepping out

I have always loved weddings. I dreamed of my own wedding as a little girl and got to have my own dream wedding in 1996. My coordinator and director made my day perfect and with their guidance and mentorship, I began directing weddings that very year. It was a side job for me; one that I did mostly for friends and family for the next 17 years. About 5 years ago, I began directing weddings on a regular basis and in 2016 was hired to be the Wedding Director at the Chateau Selah, a high end wedding and event venue in Blountville, TN. It was a dream job for me. I was surrounded with amazing staff, vendors and the best clients in the world. I loved every minute, learned so much and honed my skills. In January 2019, I took another big step! I stepped out on my own to direct weddings and events as JamiEvents. I’m having a great time meeting new people and expanding my vendor lists. I am so excited to continue bringing my best to clients and vendors. It is my goal, through planning and coordination, to create stress free weddings and events for my clients, an event where everyone involved can relax and enjoy every second.
