BANQ IS BACK!💌

We are beyond excited to announce the reopening of the iconic BANQ Building in downtown Kingsport. This space has been a staple in our community, and we’re thrilled to bring it back for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, conventions, conferences~any reason to celebrate.

We’re now filling our books and scheduling tours so come see the space for yourself. Both the banquet hall and rooftop space are available to make your next event unforgettable.

Join us during Downtown Kingsport’s Shop & Hop on September 4th from 5–8 PM for open tours. Stay tuned for our open house details and other community events we have planned.

I would LOVE to plan a wedding here! Not only is it extremely gorgeous in every season, it also has incredible owners who want to make a couples' wedding dreams come true. This venue also uses the profits to fund ministries that support the needs of women and children. Talk about a win win!!!

Stepping out

I have always loved weddings. I dreamed of my own wedding as a little girl and got to have my own dream wedding in 1996. My coordinator and director made my day perfect and with their guidance and mentorship, I began directing weddings that very year. It was a side job for me; one that I did mostly for friends and family for the next 17 years. About 5 years ago, I began directing weddings on a regular basis and in 2016 was hired to be the Wedding Director at the Chateau Selah, a high end wedding and event venue in Blountville, TN. It was a dream job for me. I was surrounded with amazing staff, vendors and the best clients in the world. I loved every minute, learned so much and honed my skills. In January 2019, I took another big step! I stepped out on my own to direct weddings and events as JamiEvents. I’m having a great time meeting new people and expanding my vendor lists. I am so excited to continue bringing my best to clients and vendors. It is my goal, through planning and coordination, to create stress free weddings and events for my clients, an event where everyone involved can relax and enjoy every second.
