Our Story

Hi, I'm Jennifer!

I've been a wedding planner for ten years and before that, I was a travel advisor at one of the leading travel agencies in the USA. I'm glad you're here and I'd like to tell you how Joyful Elopements began.

In 2015, when it came time to plan my own wedding I knew I didn't want a traditional event. For both of us, it was our second marriage and the thought of spending a ton of money and planning a big to-do seemed a bit off. We decided to save our money for a nice trip and elope instead.

We searched for elopement packages in our home state of Texas and we were surprised at the limited options available. What we wanted was easy enough…a nice destination, an all-inclusive package, no hassles, and utterly romantic.
