White Lion Thursday Open Mic
Based at The White Lion Pub in Sandwell Street Walsall WS1 3EQ
The evening is run on a communal basis with anyone who wishes to taking part as host or sound person. The White Lion Open Mic is encouraging and supports all forms of performance, styles of performance and levels of ability; including singer songwriters, cover musicians, spoken word, with styles as varied as rock, folk, rap, blues, acapella, poetry, comedy etc.
We do have equipment available including amps bass guitar mics and cajon, but if you have equipment of your own you want to use you are welcome to, we have experienced sound people who will be able to set up for you or you can set up yourself if you have a particular style you use.
There is always a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the open mic and encouraging regular performers. the evening starts at 8.30 pm and continues up until 12.00 am; usually ending with a free to join jam session.
