🔥 Potjiekos Competition Rules for the Mini Farm Fair! 🔥

Think you have what it takes to make the best potjie? Enter the Potjiekos Competition at the Bathurst Agricultural Museum Mini Farm Fair on 21 December 2024 and show off your skills! Here’s what you need to know:

1 Eligibility: The competition is open to everyone. However, admission is at the organizers' discretion.
2 Entry Deadline: Submit your entry by 15th December 2024 to either The Ploughman Pub or via email at [email protected].
3 Pot Size Requirement: A minimum potjie pot size of No. 3 is required.
4 Team Size: Each team may consist of up to 4 members.
5 Cooking Fuel: Gas or wood/charcoal is allowed (black wattle wood will be provided).
6 Attendance: At least one team member must be present at the stand at all times.
7 Ingredients: Participants must supply all ingredients for their potjie.
8 Equipment: All necessary cooking equipment must be provided by the participants.
9 Preparation: Raw ingredients may be prepared in advance.
10 Hygiene and Safety: Proper hygiene and safety practices must be observed at all times.
11 Start Time: Teams may begin cooking as soon as they are ready.
12 Food Tasting: Dishes should be ready for tasting from 13:00.
13 Judging Criteria: Only the potjies and their presentation will be judged.
14 Disclaimer: The Bathurst Agricultural Museum and The Ploughman Pub will not be responsible for any loss or damage to equipment or personal belongings.
