"Tiki" The Legend

Mncedisi Dumayi, known by his stage name "Tiki," is an exceptional South African songwriter, composer, and music director who has made a significant impact in the music industry. With his immense talent and passion for gospel music, Tiki has become renowned for his exceptional compositions and contributions to the field.

Tiki's musical journey began at a young age in 1987 when he started singing gospel music. Inspired by his father, Mr. Zinakile, and his brother, he quickly developed a deep love for writing gospel songs and composing. This passion led him to join the Bakgethwa Spiritual Choir in 1989, working under the guidance of Mr. Sternly Dumayi, the choir's music director at the time.

In 1995, Tiki's incredible talent and dedication led him to become the youngest music director of the Bakgethwa Spiritual Choir. Under his leadership, the choir achieved great success, releasing their first album in 1997 titled "HA LE LAKATSA HO TSEBA."
