WINTER BIRTHDAY PARTIES:

VENUE: RONDEBOSCH (St Thomas Lane – before the Campground Road entrance to Bishops.)

PROVIDES:
1. SPACE:
• The hall is about 20 meters long by 10 width (Floor)
• It also provides a STAGE.
• Toilets: Male/ Female and Disabled
• Entrance Foyer
• Kitchen
• Another smaller room on the side of the main hall (17 meters length by 14 meters width)
• Ample Parking space
OUTSIDE AREA AVAILABLE:
• long the hall (7 length by 6 meters across)
• Back of hall (15 length by 10 width)

2. PRIVACY:
The hall provides you with a venue to have your own party, without other kids involved or running around, like most play places you hire.

3. WEATHER:
If it rains, you don’t have to worry. If it’s nice weather, you can use the area outside. The hall has 3 doors the open up to the outside area.

4. PRICES:
The hiring of the hall is MIN 3 hours.
This allows for 30 min preparation, (2-hour party) and 30 min clean up.
Basic hire of hall would cost:

* YOU CAN HIRE DIFFENT PACKAGES THAT INCLUDE ENTERTAINMENT (FACEPAINTING/ DANCE AND GAMES WITH FAIRY TRACY/JUMPING CASTLES/SOFT PLAY ETC_
5. SAFTEY:
There is a lock for the door and a safety gate that can be closed -you can buzz it open from inside the hall to allow people in.

6. YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY PER CHILD/ADULT AND CAN HAVE UNLIMTED NUMBER OF PEOPLE!

27 th April Freedom day 2021 marked the first (hopefully) annual RONDEBOSCH COMMUNITY FUNFAIR!
Since Covid entered our lives and turned the world upside down, it made me reevaluate life- I’m sure you can relate.
I grew up in a different world to the one we live in now. We had The Constantia Fair, Milnerton Fair, Ratanga Junction and the best part was FREEDOM.
This event was an idea of hope. Something different for our children, yet something so common to our past.
Against all odds the RONDEBOSCH COMMUNITY FUNFAIR took place. All parties involved took part with no expectation of profit.
MAGICIANS, FACE-PAINTERS, JUMPING CASTLES, SOFTPLAY, BUMPERCARS, PLAYBALL, AMINAL PETTING FARM, JUNGLE GYMS, CLOWNS, AIRBRUSH TATTOOS, TRAIN RIDES...... AND SO MUCH MORE!

RONDEBOSCH COMMUNITY FUNFAIR!
This was my first “challenge and tester” back into a world I knew. Unfortunately age, kids (3/4yrs old), covid, school holidays, nanny resigning, husband working from home, hour of planning (work hours 8pm - kids wake up) and being a stay at home mom.. this wasn’t as easier as I thought. It was so hardcore to organize, so many obstacles and hats to were, especially as an Event “COMPANY” of just me!!
Not sure what I was think or if I could pull it off. It was a struggle, but also an escape from the Ground Hog Day of motherhood.
And guess what.... IT WAS A SUCCESS!
