Sweet & Sticky Chicken with cheesy Mac n Cheese!
You definitely want to give this recipe a go! It's absolutely delicious and cheesy 🧀 😍
This recipe serves 6
Ingredients:
1kg chicken strips
500ml buttermilk
10g sugar & spice seasoning
10g smoked Paprika
5g black pepper
5g aromat
80g cornflour (this is the secret Ingredient to crispy chicken)
150g flour
500g macaroni
1l oil
Cheese sauce:
1l milk
250g grated cheese (I used gouda and fresh parmesan)
100g butter
100g flour
10g veggie spice
10g sugar and spice seasoning
15g djion mustard
5g cayenne pepper
Sweet and sticky sauce:
200ml Basting (I used Jimmy's basting)
150ml honey
150g butter
Method:
1. Soak your chicken in buttermilk and refrigerate for 1 hour
2. Cook your macaroni and set aside
3. Make your cheese sauce by melting the butter with mustard, then add your flour and spices until it forms a paste, then slowly add your milk until thick. Lastly, add your grated cheese. Remember to leave some cheese for when you bake the macaroni in the oven
4. Now coat your chicken in the flour and spices mixture
5. In a pan with hot oil, fry your chicken until crispy
6. Mix your macaroni with the cheese sauce and add to an oven proof dish with the rest of the cheese. Bake for 15-20 min at 180° until golden
7. Heat your sweet and sticky sauce in a pot until the butter has melted.
8. Pour the sauce over the crispy chicken and allow to stand for 5 min.

Peppermint crisp tart!
This has to be one of my favorite desserts 😍
Ingredients:
1 packet tennis biscuits
3 tablespoons salted butter
1 tin of mint caramel treat
1 tin caramel treat
2 slabs mint crisp chocolate
500ml fresh cream
Method:
1. Crush your biscuits until smooth. I used a blender in this recipe
2. Melt your butter and then add to the crushed tennis biscuits
3. Use the biscuit mixture as the base for your tart, then set aside in the fridge
4. Whip your cream until the cream is thick
5. Add your mint caramel treat to the cream and mix with a wooden spoon until smooth
6. In a separate bowl, mix your caramel treat until smooth
7. Put both mixture in separate piping bags
8. Layer your caramel and the cream mixture
9. Grate the mint crisp chocolate on top of your tart and finish it off with some caramel treat
10. Best set overnight in the fridge!

This dish is for all our pasta lovers 😍👌
A quick and simple but DELICIOUS pasta dish to make for you and your family!
Creamy chicken and bacon pasta
This recipe serves 6
Ingredients:
1kg chicken fillets
400g bacon (diced)
1 punnet cherry tomatoes cut in half
500ml fresh cream
1 tub cream cheese (sweet chilli)
150g feta cheese
1/2 packet of mushroom soup powder
200ml milk
Dry or fresh mixed herbs
Penne pasta
Method:
1. Boil your pasta and set aside. I always salt my pasta after cooking
2. Chop your chicken and fry in a pan with spices of your choice (I used our own spice that I mix myself)
3. Once the chicken is cooked, in the same pan, fry the bacon until slightly crispy
4. Set aside the chicken and bacon in separate bowls, then fry the half sliced cherry tomatoes in the same pan until light browned
5. Add the fresh cream and cream cheese to the tomatoes and stir, cook for about 10 minutes before adding the mushroom soup mixed with some milk, mix well, and stir often
6. Now add the chicken and bacon to your already cooked pasta and mix well
7. Your sauce should now be thick. Add this to your pasta and mix well. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving
8. To finish off the pasta dish, add feta cheese and herbs once plated
