CELEBRATING 7 YEARS

Seven years ago today, Beefup Spitbraais began its journey, firing up the grill for its very first event. We transformed a simple backyard into a feast for 25 hungry guests, filled with anticipation and excitement. That day marked the beginning of an incredible journey, one filled with hard work, valuable lessons, and countless memorable moments.

Meet our Spit Braai Master Kristin

Charismatic, friendly, and insightful - Kristin is the founder and Spit Braai Master of BeefUp Spitbraai & Smokehouse. Her love for food and braai is rooted deeply in her childhood where her true culinary journey began.

Ever since, the passion took her to many countries across the world where she learned her love for sharing delicious and hearty food and experiences with others. A trip to Thailand in particular, was an awakening moment where she realised what she is meant to do - share love through freshly and thoughtful food and braai experiences. Some of her pins on the map include Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Holland, Singapore, Angola, Kenya and Zimbabwe. Collectively, and with authentic childhood culinary lessons at heart, Kristin has cultivated BeefUp Spitbraai & Smokehouse to share with the world.

Other than being known for having a travel itch, serving the best spit braai catering services in Cape Town - Kristin offers private cooking lessons to internationals in a unique, and private location in the Southern Peninsula.
