Today deserves something a little more personal.

1 October 2024 would have been my Mother in Law, Angela's 62nd birthday. Instead, we celebrate the life she lived, without her for the very first time.

So what is the importance of this:

Other than the loss of my brother, Angela's fight against Cancer and early departure from our world is one of the major contributing factors that pushed me toward focusing on weddings and celebrations.

Angela's love for life... the fight she fought to attend Don & my wedding was something I still struggle to comprehend. It's almost one year ago that we held an incredibly special intimate legal ceremony at their home in Somerset West, in the fear that she would not have made it to our actual wedding date on my family farm outside Ficksburg. How honoured we are to have had her at both.

Ange, you inspired me to follow my heart, to do things that bring me joy. And MOST of all, you inspired me to try and make other people's lives a little more special. Your sparkle lives on in our hearts.
