Our Story

The idea for MY TRIBE VIBE came about whilst chatting to a friend about her eldest son’s fondest birthday party memories. We giggled and laughed about his 13th birthday party sleepover weekend which included 12 boisterous boys at their dam house. Each evening she would do a headcount, by the time she reached a headcount of 12 she knew she could settle for the night into exhausted relaxation.

The weekend was not without drama, on Saturday one of the boys ran into the boat trailer, she rushed him to the emergency room where doctors proceeded to give him 12 stitches in his leg, all the while she listened to him beg her not to send him home, amidst the trauma he was experiencing he was still having the best time ever. She called his mum who reluctantly agreed to let him stay after several minutes of pleading.

When all the boys left on the Sunday morning she continued her routine of a headcount…this time she got to 13! She was horrified to find that she had missed a child every night, at the time she vowed never to attempt a sleepover party again. Looking back now she said the childhood innocence and the fun the boys shared had made the whole party a worthwhile experience, memories the boys and she still cherish 20 years later.

MY TRIBE VIBE was born and our team create magical birthday party sleepover experiences that not only looks amazing but also celebrates childhood innocence, imagination, fun and the untameable adventurous spirit of a child. The attention to detail in every piece supplied makes the experience a home away from home for each child that attends.
