On the 19th of June Western Cape Government hosted its annual Youth Day Careers Festival in Cape Town! Where it had exhibitors from different industries and institutions of higher learning. We welcomed attendees from different backgrounds and cultures who were so eager to learn more and curve their future.

One of South Africa’s major issues right now is high youth unemployment. This supported by statistics indicating that youth (15-35 years) unemployment is at 45,5%. Forcing the youth of South Africa to find other means of income.

On the 19th of June 2024 the Western Cape Government is hosting their annual Youth festival.. This year for the first time they will be hosting an entrepreneurship segment in partnership with Zuzani Group.
These entrepreneurs are from the Western Cape and doing absolutely great for themselves. Other departments of government will be participating to talk about their work and support for SMMEs.
