Last week I bought fresh strawberries from Food Lovers. The special was 3 punnets for R50. I'm thinking I'll share with the boys and by norm we have a punnet each when I buy fresh berries. Sadly I ate it by myself because it tasted like nothing.

Yesterday I bought 2 punnets from Woolworths. One for the cake and one for us to share. Sadly I ate the punnet by myself again. šŸ¤£ The strawberries we super sweet and just perfect. Woolworths fruit are always on another level of perfection.

Customer is celebrating her mother's birthday with a red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting and fresh sweet strawberries.

Filled with gooey salted caramel and a whole lot of attitude. Letā€™s call it artisan rustic chic. Still fabulous. Still not making more.šŸ˜…

PS. Guess what? It fed 3 families of 4, perfection in disguise.

A One Piece cake. (Theme:Anime)
Character: Luffy

The cake is covered in chocolate ganache. The words, character and page is made with chocolate. The red base is fondant.

Everything is made from scratch. I thought I'll take this opportunity to practice my shading (colour in) of the character.
