ATOM is a creative collective that nurtures interpersonal engagement through exhilaration of the senses and mind. Throughout time, people have gathered in groups to transcend individuality and engage in a unified state, and it is this state that the collective sets out to manifest. ATOM quickly made its mark in Cape Town with a series of bespoke events at The Waiting Room, and now holds a bi-month

The collective has featured international artists such as Powel [All Day I Dream] and Ida Daugaard [Wide Awake], books local legends such as Kat la Kat, Leeu, Tonijah, Mvelo, Irshaad Samaai, Okayshades, Shift Mawelele and Lyon, and has hosted alongside Killer Robot at ERA. Events are characterised by deep, minimal techno and house, accompanied by synchronised visuals within a space transformed by innovation and love, and packed with an engaging, euphoric audience. The collective began as an audiovisual collaboration between Intrinsic Audio Sessions and PUPIL Visuals, but quickly evolved into an entity bigger than the sum of its parts.
