Our restaurant, al Fiume – Italian for ‘at the river’ – has all the ingredients for a splendid restaurant experience: a stunning setting on a shady wooden deck on the banks of the Hennops River and a restaurateur with a passion for food, as well as the experience to ensure exceptional levels of service. River Place also offers an array of delicious menus for your event, from a boma spit-braai to a three-course jazz luncheon. River Place is a special country wedding and conference venue that takes advantage of the magnificent gardens, impressive river and mountain views all combining to provide a magical wedding experience and a country-style conference. The estate consists of 18 hectares of prime river-frontage and is conveniently located just 20 minutes from both Fourways and Centurion.

Thanda Manzi boasts 19 rooms (can comfortably accommodate up to 36 people) with 3 different types of room configurations.

🌱3 Luxury Suites:
Enjoy an extra-length, king-sized bed and open plan lounge area for two. Elegant decor and a peaceful ambiance await.

🌱12 standard rooms:
Each has two ¾ beds that convert into a super king bed, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, and a work station.

🌱2 Deluxe Rooms:
Comprises of two standard rooms with an inter-leading door, providing ample space for 4 guests to spread out and relax. We are able to add a mattress for a child under 7 years of age, thereby accommodating family of five.

On the 1st of September 2024. Bring the family and a picnic blanket (and your towels for the waterslide) - we do the rest!
