I had the privilege of capturing this beautiful mama-to-be during her pregnancy, and now, just a few weeks later, I’m over the moon to photograph her precious newborn. It’s an incredible journey to document—the love, the anticipation, and now, the joy of holding her sweet little one in her arms.

Time, skill, and patience were essential in editing these images. Why? Because this shoot was captured on January 1st, 2025, at Noordhoek Beach, which was more crowded than I’ve ever seen in all my years of photography.

With so many people around, I took extra care to ensure every shot was just right. The results speak for themselves – it was all worth it!

Friendship group of 11, came to South Africa for the festive season and had a photo shoot together as friends and individually as families. It was 2 hours of fun, laughter and watching what a deep connection they had together.

Cape Town sunset didn't disappoint us either.

As we arrived at the location for the shoot it began to POUR with rain ( which did not show on the weather app) we decided to wait around 10 minutes and then the rain stopped and we could continue with the shoot. We were so glad we waited as the light was beautiful.

We had so much fun and the shoot was full of laughter and we all had an amazing time together.

Watching the little ones grow is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a photographer. This precious baby girl came to me for her newborn shoot and now celebrating her 1 year birthday.

So much change happens in our little ones in that first year, it is crazy! I'm honoured and immensely grateful to clients for returning and capturing their special moments.

Rhodes Memorial Resturant burnt down in the fire a year ago and while it was a sad situation, there is beauty in the ruins. The mountainside has grown back creating the most beautiful backdrop for a photo shoot.
