ENTIRE HOUSE: R55,000 per Night - 6 Double Bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms in the main house with an additional 2 Double Bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms in the Villa. Sleeps 16 people There is a large lounge, formal dining room with secret cellar, family lounge, kitchen with large eating area, sunroom that leads out onto the patio. There is a well equipped kitchen, eating area, with walk-in refrigerator and exclusive gentlemen's bar. There is a private TV room upstairs, office and ample space to relax and unwind. There are a total of 3 private swimming pools on the estate. The main one (outside the front of the house) is a 15m x 3m pool with large patio area around it. It leads onto several garden areas that are exquisitely designed and maintained with seating areas and beautiful artworks to admire. The 360 degree views of the surrounding Franschhoek mountain ranges form a spectacular view that is unparalleled. There is also a tennis court and several pathways leading through the extensive gardens, including a beautiful rose garden, olive grove and vineyards. Sandstone House is the perfect property for an intimate wedding, corporate function, photo or video shoot or private party and offers abundant space to entertain and relax. Weddings and Functions: 20 - 60 guests can comfortably be accommodated in the large sunroom, family room or spacious lounge and diningroom. Furthermore, a marquee can be erected outside the sunroom area to accommodate up to 100 guests. And tables, chairs and even chandeliers can be placed under the trees close to the pool patio. On a beautiful day, the ceremony can be held next to the pool with the bride walking down the long passage with a vocalist or violinist overhead in the upstairs balcony. With a backdrop of the magnificent Franschhoek mountains and surrounding valley, this can be a true showstopper. Dinner Parties, Soirees and Cocktail Parties Sandstone House offers luxurious accommodation with an abundance of entertainment options to suit discerning guests. The large dining room leading onto the spacious lounge is the ideal setting for an elegant dinner party. The easy flow between all the entertainment areas with seating, is perfect for a cocktail party if you want guests to mingle.
