When your lifetime boss calls you over for a presentation and says “ I knows you got this. “ 👊🏽😊 I actually do miss the presentations and projects sometimes. Most of all I miss training, I miss facilitating IT classes. I miss teaching people how technology works and creating solutions through systems. Maybe I should go back to being an IT Facilitator, I am still accredited after all 🤔

I don’t have it all figured out and I don’t pretend that I do. We rise, we fall and we rise again. We start new things, we fail and we start all over again. I used to be so scared of failure and falling behind as I constantly measured my success and used other people journeys as a benchmark. I failed in silence and carried the heavy load with me unnecessarily as it only weighed me down. Now I know that failure means I tried, I put myself out there and gave it my best. I’ve learnt to take failures as lessons and I’ve also learnt to admit when I need help(very difficult for me). There’s no manual to life, give it your best, be happy, surround yourself with people who uplift your soul and live. I promise you if you stop being so hard on yourself, you will realise that yes things might be bad for now, but this isn’t the end. 🫶🏽
Go out there and do what you love, Go out there, put yourself out there and work for what you want coz the rewards hit so much better when u know you gave it your best.

I think that one of the reasons I didn’t like Mondays was because I was not in control of my time. I had to show up for someone else before I could show up for myself and nothing was on my terms. Now I love Mondays, I look forward to new week because I am in charge of my own life and I show up for myself 52 weeks in the year.
Take charge of your life, do what makes you happy and fills your soul… Remember you only have one life to live 🤍

I’m grateful for being able to see when I am wrong and for acknowledging it when others point it out. I am learning to correct my wrongs as I know that I can’t always be right. It’s important to admit when you have wronged yourself or others. Learning to forgive wholeheartedly is key, forgive yourself for everything so that you can move on and put the past behind you. Don’t walk around carrying guilt, acknowledge, apologise, learn and move on. Sometimes you also have to forgive without an apology and know that it doesn’t mean you are stupid, you are just choosing peace over everything else 🫶🏽

It’s important to forgive yourself for every little thing that didn’t go your way. Not everything always goes as planned. Flowers bloom and die off but that doesn’t stop the tree/stem from growing stronger and blooming with even more flowers in the next season. Failure happens, it happens to all of us. Be kinder to yourself and keep growing and learning, no one is perfect. Understand that even with your faults, failures and disappointments…. You are enough and deserve you at your best 🖤

I’ve definitely found peace in my relearning of self. There’s still alot to be done but I’m happy. Life is far from perfect but I’m so at peace, happy and so grateful. I’m even more thankful that I am able to do the work I do, I never thought that I would love any other thing as much as I loved working in Information Technology. IT was my passion, my life, my drive. Now I am my passion, doing what feeds my body, mind and soul is my passion and I love it. I’ve been called to make a difference, not only in my life but in the life of others too. This definitely feels like a purposeful life, one that will be spoken about even after I’m long gone. 🫶🏽
