Business owners should be careful: having more followers doesn’t always translate into more business.

It’s extremely common for businesses on social media to focus on follower count & exponential growth as a measurement of success.

I always encourage business owners to pay attention to the quality of their online relationships, rather than their follower count. Highly engaged followers are the ones who are most likely to share your content, recommend your business, and make a purchase.

And for this reason, it is super important to dedicate time and care in establishing strong & meaningful connections with your community.

Engage and connect with your audience through comments, create interactions using Instagram stories and initiate conversations through DMs- but, be sure to reach out with genuine interest to avoid sounding salesy...

Remember that it is way better to have 100 highly engaged followers than to have 1000 followers that don’t actually care for your business. So worry less about exponentially growing the Gram and focus on building valuable relationships with individuals that may turn into clients 🖤

🦋you can easily follow and engage with specific hashtags and content.

A secret tip to finding the perfect hashtag:

1. Hop onto your browser & search www.best-hashtags.com
2. Type in a hashtag that relates to your biz. (For example, I can search )
3. Click search and it will show you a list of the most popular hashtags as well as the second most liked hashtags.
4. Add them to your list and get posting!!!

** remember that you are only limited to 30 hashtags per post! So use them wisely and make sure you are rotating them and using the ones that are most relevant to your post!
