Some weddings feel like they were written in the stars long before the day arrived…✨
From our very first conversation, Shayna and James trusted me completely with their vision - no mock-ups, no second-guessing - just a quiet faith that allowed me to dream freely on their behalf. Inspired by Shayna’s luminous auburn hair and the gentle whisper of early autumn, I painted their day in shades of ivory, cream, and the softest brushstroke of cinnamon 🧡
On the morning of their wedding, nature sent her blessing in the smallest, sweetest form: ladybugs appearing as if on cue, even settling beside them during their first look and private vow exchange. A gentle reminder, perhaps, that love is lucky - and meant to be cherished.
The ceremony, officiated by James’ father, overflowed with tender words and unwavering joy. From there, the jazzy notes of saxophone drifted across the gardens, leading guests to a dappled canopy for boules, croquet, and lavish canapés. Inside, the reception glowed beneath whimsical draping that swept across the ceiling like soft cotton clouds.
The evening unfolded in waves of laughter and tears, heartfelt speeches, and a first dance beneath sparklers; the dance floor alive until the stars themselves began to fade.
Shayna & James, thank you for allowing me to create a space that told your love story so beautifully. I’ll never forget the magic of this day, and the love that was so clearly celebrated by every person present. It was the kind of day you carry with you… like a tiny, perfect sign you’ll never forget! 🐞
