** FUNDRAISER FOR JULIET GRAY CORBELLARI **
If any of you have done one of Scrap Collections amazing layouts, or downloaded one of the free Layouts from Celebr8, then you most likely have this amazing lady to thank. Juliet is an integral part of our community and has created layouts for decades for the industry to use for years! Her work is almost as incredible as her big generous heart! Although times are hard, we are now asking for everyone to please help out by please "giving back" to this beautiful individual, by joining our ONLINE Fundraising class and helping her in her time of need...

Here is the heartfelt story of Juliet..
Juliet is 49 years old and lives in Durbanville, Cape Town. She is a devoted and loving single mother to 3 boys, all who still live at home with her. Her oldest 2 sons are attending varsity and the youngest is in Matric. She has passionately run her scrapbook store, Scrapfinity, for the past 17 years and has been an inspiration to many in the scrapbook industry with her designs and creativity. She is a happy, loving person who always has a smile on her face and is loved by all who know her. Just over a month ago, Juliet was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and was immediately admitted to hospital for emergency surgery to remove a tumour that was blocking her colon. The surgery went well and the mass was removed, but a few days later she unfortunately developed an infection and had to undergo a second surgery to clear the infection. She was in hospital for 13 days whereafter she was discharged to continue her recovery at home. She has had a few set-backs with the lingering infection and the recovery from the 2 surgeries has been slow and painful. Juliet will be starting chemotherapy on the 15th of March and will still have to undergo additional surgery at a later stage, after the chemotherapy course. She had recently joined a hospital plan, but unfortunately no cover was provided for any of her treatments, due to her not being a member on the scheme for long enough. This has left her with massive medical costs (approx. R400k so far). Juliet has been incredibly blessed with some financial assistance from family members, but there is still a long journey ahead with her ongoing treatment, management of her current recovery and further surgery in the future. In addition, she has been unable to run her small business and earn an income since her diagnosis. Her ability to “get back to normal” with regards to work going forward is also uncertain, due to the chemotherapy treatment that she will be starting soon and the uncertainty of how she will respond to the treatment. Her diagnosis has been a shock to many, but she has been incredibly strong and positive throughout her cancer journey so far and is an inspiration to all of us. We all want to support her as much as we all can. Please help us to raise much-needed funds for this special friend and her treatment. All funds raised will go towards paying her medical costs and to assist her to get the best care and comfort as well as to support her family during this challenging time. We, as friends, want her to focus on her care and recovery and not be burdened by the financial impact that inevitably comes with this disease. All donations, big or small, will be lovingly appreciated by her and her family and will go a long way to helping her on the road to recovery. Thank you 🙏

I would like as many of you to upload a completed album (video/set of photos) or two to the group. The video/photos MUST be one of my tutorials but not necessarily decorated using the same ranges that I have used. At the end of March, I will choose a "winner" (or two) who will receive a free online class. Let's get uploading and inspiring each other!
