Hey guys it’s with a sad heart that I’m announcing my last gig in South Africa this Friday 16th September at .⁣

From 1st October my new journey takes me to Ireland, and I’m super excited to start a new life in my new home in Dublin 🙏⁣
⁣
Would love to see all of you on Friday, sorry for the late notice, but it has been a couple of crazy months, hence the silence 🙏 ⁣

Will certainly miss South Africa, my home for over 30 years. I will hold countless memories in my heart and the privilege to have known so many incredible, and unforgettable humans. Thank you all for the Love and the support for both my music and photography through the years.

I was one to never take time off. My mantra was do more, achieve more, taking a break was “weak.” Then covid hit and it hit me hard. It took my health, my sense of smell, and that sense of invincibility. ⁣
⁣
Covid taught me to relax, to settle. It allowed me to look inward and to realize that without your health, you’re nothing. ⁣
I learned that I’m not more by doing more. I don’t have to be everywhere, be everything. I learned to be less, want less, and give more. ⁣
⁣
So here I am, taking some time off to recover my health. Looking at the world from the outside, but looking in. Doing the things I love, working on my legacy, my plans, my future. ⁣
⁣
I feel empowered not having to always push. My dad’s passing reminded me that your time here is not guaranteed and is limited. If you don’t do the things you love, now… when will you? We live as if tomorrow is a certainty, we live as if we are entitled to. ⁣
⁣
I’m grateful for the tough times. I’m grateful for having my health taken away so I can truly appreciate it and never take it for granted. I’m lucky to have experience loss so I can love what I have more intensely. Like Armstrong said, what a wonderful world. ⁣

Because there's only one Sun, often light comes from only one source. One light gives you a natural look of a large window. It was a look that was used by masters of painting, like Rembrandt.
