I relocated to South Africa in 2012 after living in London and studying Sound Engineering for four years. My love for BASS driven music emerged whilst spending time in the underground music scene, clubs and various music studios. Upon my return, I enrolled at the Academy of Sound Engineering (ASE) in Johannesburg and majored in audio post-production. During my studies I also completed a DJ course

with DJ4Life, under instructor Ian Credible, who has become my mentor and friend. In 2013 I was scouted by YFM 99.2 the leading Youth radio station in South Africa and began my journey as a radio hostess on the Hot 99 radio chart show. In 2015 my collaboration with female bass rapper and performer Lex La Foy led to the opportunity to be a part of the Purple Velvet Hip Hop tour, which took place in: Germany, Switzerland and Austria. This collaborative effort was in conjunction with German rapper Sookee and American rapper Shirlette Ammons. In 2015 and 2016 I went to Europe, hosted parties and played at numerous spots in Paris and Berlin. I traveled solo to Europe for a Summer tour to ingest some valuable knowledge on what the European scene was investing in. I was also fortunate enough to play at several events, such as:
Berlin female Focus Festival and Berlin Fashion Week after party hosted by Eve Without Adam.

Highlight of my festive season was spending quality time with my beautiful sister 💞
Reminded what an incredible, energetic, caring, selfless and charming soul she is 🌠
Waking me up in the morning with coffee, pushing me to workout everyday (that's our families love language), sharing her designer clothes with me (even if she's never worn it yet), buying me a bouquet of sunflowers to brighten my day🌻 snapping the best angles of me, amongst other daily gestures of love 🥰

She's back in Dubai in her big boss shoes taking the marketing world by storm, making us all proud but I miss her already 🥹 Love You SOEURETTE 🫂🍒💐

Didn't get to share my highlights for 2024 but here's pics of some moments before and after the crossover into the new year.
Truth be told I spent ages making a beautiful video with all my favourite moments in 2024, then as per usual I over thought it: maybe it's too long? Who cares about my year? It's past new years what's the point?...all crippling thoughts till I didn't release it.

This year I plan on documenting more, overthinking less and sharing my journey for whoever is keen to watch/listen.

I'm always being told I'm not open enough on social media for people to resonate with me, but truth is, it's scary letting you all in 🫣 I know I don't necessarily need to but I think it's important for you to understand where I'm at when releasing the new music and exciting projects I have coming out this year.

This year I'll be fearless in all I do, including sharing more parts of me.
