The job of a Dj is not bringing crowds to the venue, that’s marketing and PR. A DJ's job is to entertain the audience, they put in so much work in perfecting their art and skills. So as a Club Promoter or Event Organiser, book someone who's good at DJing, stop taking advantage of DJs who are not yet famous, please pay upcoming DJs just as you do with Big DJs. If you don’t see the need to pay a dj then play your crowd 'mixtapes, playlists or just buy a Jukebox.
You guys are killing the industry... Please respect these talented individuals, let's value them for their skills which is DJing. If you need a crowd, then have a budget, approach marketing agencies and stop saying DJs should bring a crowd.
