Hi There.
For those who are new followers my name is Tarah. I am the designer, magic maker and creative at Magpie Calls.
Every piece you see on this page has been made from scratch by me.

I am a dancer, a dreamer and will take any excuse to wear a crown.
I believe whole-heartedly in helping people (but especially women) feel like royalty. we all go through so many things in our lives that bring us down, I want my pieces to always bring smiles because of happy memories, to make you feel special and amazing, and to truly reflect YOU!
The beauty of a Magpie Calls piece is that it really is made with love, care and attention to detail.

Fun fact.... I often watch horror movies or series while making gorgeous, pretty and romantic pieces haha. I think the contrast helps imbue even more love, light and happiness into the creations I make as an antidote to the darkness of this world.

I am a dog mom... his name is Cooper and I'm obsessed. If you havent heard of glimmers (look them up... they are amazing), he is definitely bringing alllll the glimmers to my life.

I am a dancer. A bellydancer to be exact. I have been dancing for 21 years and have my own studio called "Dance Tribe". We do fusion belly (a modern style with roots in nomadic cultures as well as middle eastern dance , with a western flair). And fun fact.... I started Magpie Calls by making dance accessories 12 years ago.
