OFFICAL STATMENT OF ROYS HIRING SERVICES pty ltd

The following statement is in response to a client's complaint (Mrs Neetah Sahadaye)

This is a detailed account of what transpired:
Mrs Neetah Sahadaye requested our service for a function she was having at her house. At first I was hesitant to assist as her husband still had an outstanding bill with our company which they both refuse to pay. My dad being the soft hearted person that he is agreed to assist despite the above. In order to prevent a reoccurance of unpaid bills I requested upfront payments which were made. Prior to the marquee being placed on the property we needed to check the property and make the necessary arrangements. Upon our arrival at the property we were concerned and shocked to see the state of the yard. The moss, missing concrete, dirt and muddy conditions was an issue for the placement of the tent and even my staff was disgusted to go into certain areas and place the pins. The client was advised regarding the difficulties we might face and we expected same to be cleaned on the day of us setting up.

On Thursday 28th of Decemeber we arrived around 3 to 3:30pm to erect the marquee and to our surprise the area for setting up was still filthy. We did not want to disappoint the client at the last minute so despite the difficult conditions we had to work in, we still decided to set up. The client did not complain after set up regarding the condition of the tent and seems to to be pleased with it's appearance. There was a period of 2 days (29th and 30th December 2023) where Mrs Neetah Sahadaye could have expressed her dissatisfaction regarding the condition and colour of the tent however she only expressed her dissatisfaction on Sunday 31st December 2023 after the terrible weather conditions in PMB(after the function already took place on the 30th December 2023),unfortunately we could not assist as we were not in pmb.

Our special does state white tent ,however as per our verbal conversation on the 19th of December Mrs Neetah Sahadaye had agreed to peg & pole a blue and white tent as we were out of full white tents even though we had told our her it was not up to our usual standards and she agreed for us to still use it.

Due to festive season we had posted our Business hours on our whatsapp status to make all clients aware of time changes.Business hours did not however apply to clients who were calling for funeral arrangements.

Despite the above timings and a person's logic to not watsapp outside business hours the client mentioned above sent a watsapp at 1:45am on Friday morning 29th Dec 2023 requesting for a 1 pole Marquee change over however the one placed on the property was already a 1 pole marquee. Due to time of the message we were unable to respond. The client was in communication with us during such late hours but still failed to communicate her dissatification regarding the colour and condition of the tent prior to the function. If this was a legitimate complaint surely it ought to have been made during the ample time available prior to the function
