This morning it was good to meet our new neighbours the Churches, and make the historical connection between our property and that of the Old Mill. A belated warm PA welcome to this family who are most enthusiastic about our Kowie River history and their recently acquired Mill.

Music we love that's stood the test of time

Delightful and musically talented siblings Isaac and Lily van der Merwe were holidaying in PA and concert pianist Isaac (21) needed a piano - he has garnered many awards and recently two standing ovations with top SA orchestras. Suddenly the RH Museum reverberated with superb music, and at the end of their holiday, Lily and Isaac kindly performed a private recital on Weds 2nd July.
We were treated to Bach, Listz, Rachmaninov and French flute music. And then we walked out into the cool night air, as if on a cloud. Viva la Musica!

A festive feel this weekend with visitors for Easter Festival sport. Some also took in PA's cultural attractions, including Richmond House Museum. Good to meet you, Janet, Ian, Sally and Susan!

Richmond House Museum resounded once again with marvellous music on Sunday! Thank you classical guitarist Mark Jennings for your 'Spirit of Spain' recital and for bringing together the ample number of fine music enthusiasts we have in our town. Mark and his wife Mignonne were very gracious guests. Thank you to generous audience members for their donations toward the Inkwenkwezi School of Artistry. Community music will continue to uplift young people in our town.

Very excited that there will again be music - and a typically appreciative Ndlambe audience to enjoy it - in RHM soon! Tickets still available for the concert, but are selling like hot cakes.

This morning I hosted our last open Saturday guided tour of RHM for the festive season. The Sadler-Delport family showed much interest in the history and artefacts and I thank them for their support!
