Dylan Revolution began his DJing journey in 1996, inspired by legends like Kate Sutherland, Vicki Edwards, Smila, and Stuart H. Hours of practice on Technics SL1200 turntables and playing records led him to house parties, where his unique sound became highly sought after.
In 1997, he was invited by Speedy to play a guest set at Velvet, marking the start of an incredible career. Dylan Revolution went on to perform as both a guest and resident DJ at renowned clubs such as Stonewater, Hideout, Truth, Submission, and Boston Action Bar (now Crush Night Club).
Sharing the stage with esteemed local DJs including Jevon, Brian Banshee (RIP), Si Pierson, Manuel Oettl, Nick Grater, Dizzy, and Speedy, Dylan’s career highlights include playing alongside international acts. He’s performed at Truth nightclub with Jez and Charlie from UK label Tidy Trax, opened for UK DJ WoNK, and shared the stage with USA Trance sensation Sean Tyas at Soundroom.
Featured on 5FM’s Ultimix at 6 with DJ Fresh, Dylan continues to evolve his sound and captivate audiences. He is also the head of BPM, a premier brand hosting progressive, techno, and trance events every few months. As a mentor, he’s guided South Africa’s internationally acclaimed trance vocalist That Girl, who’s made waves at BPM.
