Addicted brings you Sakhile Malinga known as Sakhile,

He fell in love with Hip Hop but his soul got hooked on Deep House Music. Born and raised in Jo’burg with a music-oriented family he was bound to follow suit. Although the love for underground hip hop never left, his zeal for deep house took higher ground in 2006 onto the turntables and never looked back since. While in varsity he exposed to the variety of Deephouse whilst getting the opportunity to rub shoulders with the big guns of the industry.

By 2009 he found is preferred deep house to play for the masses, such funk, deep-tech, Chicago house but essentially if the crowed loves it and it blends well with the set...

Sakhile will rock it.

Sakhile has been part of the underground Deep House scene for some time, while keeping a solid professional career on the side. A lot of the accomplishments in his DJing has been accompanied by his closest friends and brothers.

Soul Cavalli is known for his production and deejaying skills with a passion for Deep/Soulful House, Tech and Dub. Born and raised in Soweto JHB

Grew up with a love and passion for music ended up becoming a Dj back in 2013 till 2015 were he decided to start producing took a break from deejaying.

The journey continued he was back playing around Soweto, Started to host "Are. You. H.O.U.S.E" deep house sessions in 2021, later started a monthly music series "Colours Of Soul" mixes and recently released a debut single "Mystery Land"

Addicted 2nd Installment invites Nthabeleng Hatlane aka LadyChoc,

Born and bred in Protea North, Soweto, LadyChoc’s love for House music spans as far as 2008. Together with friends LadyChoc used to play at House sessions, weddings and parties around Soweto for nothing but a good time.

The passion grew as she continued playing in Cape Town clubs after staying there until 2013. After a very long break, she stood in front of the decks again in 2018, with the spirit of House awakened in her, bringing back the versatility of Deep, Soulful, Techno and Dub. She’s played at Rockerfella, Kofifi and was a resident at Engadini for a short while. Though she might be considered a NOVICE, she plans to deliver nothing but a JAM!

Mvuyiseni Mlamla AKA Deepsteps is a young producer from Soweto, South Africa with a passion for Deep house, Ambient and Techno.

His journey into music started at an early age. It grew to a point where he realized where his passion lay - house music!

In 2019 he release his first track on the Dubwise Records Label "Think with me" after which he founded his own label "deepsteps recordings" releasing the well know EP "deep and dope" with much more in the pipeline collaborating with the likes of the deep resolute label (ZA) SA and Azucar Entertainment based in NYC.

Deepsteps can be found playing at clubs and bars in Soweto (Social link,News cafe in Newtown and house parties) and has also feautured on Wednesday Weapons, Slow Sessions & the Monday Morning Drive by Darker Than White, currently Curator at AYH.
