What a beautiful day this was at our favourite De Uijlenes We did the light rigging, florals and decor for this. How sublime is that fynbos bridal bouquet?

What a jam packed, mind blowing, emotional day this was. I felt at peace, surrounded by the beauty of nature and a bit isolated from civilization when I walked around at De Uijlenes it made me feel like I was a part of a little fairytale. This little jewel lies beyond Hermanus in the Overberg valley...

Spring is a season for renewal, natures way of showing off. With this comes alot of new beginnings for Salvation Jane and we are excited for the new road ahead. We have moved to the beautiful Philidelphia, just outside Durbanville, but we still work countrywide (the Winelands will always a special place in my heart)

This has to be said.

We do not have a special package or specials or package prices. It is impossible to say our package includes decor and seasonal blooms. Because if orchids or peonies are in season and you have a budget package, you are entitled to orchids or peonies and you will probably get them. BUT you run the risk of it looking skimpy.

Also, just because the venue has preferred suppliers doesn't mean you have to use them. Get quotes, do your homework, you might be pleasantly sursprised.

The annual Pink Book Weddings workshop for vendors was at the beautiful Loch Lynne Wine Estate, Durbanville. It is crucial for industry profesionals to get together, get to know and get to vent and compliment each other.

Food and sweet snacks and Manly Baker Boutiquery Absolutely Amazing!

Drinks where done by two stunning vendors, which I can't remember, but OH MY GOODNESS!

If you use a wedding vendor, make sure they are listed on pink book. They are connected to a world of people with such amazing skills to make any event spectacular.

With Easter in the house and weddings done almost every weekend this year so far, there is something on my mind. And I might be tredding in mucky water here, but here goes...

Why do photographers promise to send you images of the decor and flowers that you do and then just never do? Am I missing something?

There are a handful of pretty awesome photographers who take the time to follow you on social media and tag you in posts, but I mean, we did a wedding in December and the photographer has ghosted us.

I get that the bride and groom pay for the service. Is that the problem? Should I be upping my skills in photography and just take my own pro pics, instead of these amatuer shots?

Man, I love what I do, but I suck at photographing it.
