We believe in Rural areas opportunities when no one do.Rural Ambassadors Park is a concept not driven by profit but by passion to see their homeland also developing to play a proactive role in the North West Province Tourism Map.Rural Ambassador’s Park is seen by them as a thought provoking, innovative, vibrant, unique, competitive and accommodative scaling market likely to grow and sustainable in
the long term not only to but also to other rural towns in South Africa (SA).(a) It is a public knowledge that the youth of Taung are scattered throughout SA in search for employment/greener or entrepreneurial opportunities and they are constantly exposed to various forms of entertainment and leisure activities. (b) At the same time whenever they are home they still expect to continue their love and passion for leisure and entertainment and are prepared to travel long distances in pursuit of such known entertainment spots with friends and families. (c) Most often alcohol selling premises are the most popular rooming Taung for this young minds in or whenever they are home, however not everyone regard alcohol selling premises as their preferred destinations to relax outside their homes yet with their families and friends. (d) Further that there seems to be limited areas where the whole family could go to in Taung to spend the day either as a picnic or to have fun unless they travel over 80 km for this kinds of leisure places (Vryburg Boerplaas, or Warrenton/Jan Kemp-Transka etc.). (e) Clearly without mentioning any specific areas, available entertainment places around Taung seems not to provide/accommodate all or most of what Taung resident’s needs, or places of entertainment are scattered and provide minimal activities for patrons other than drinking,
(f) Therefore there is a need for an all in one entertainment and leisure place likely to accommodate the whole family young and old in their backyard or within their vicinity drinking and non-drinkers included. (g) Also there is an impending need to put Taung on a tourist Map as a place to be similar to established ones outside Taung area through the Rural Ambassador’s Park Project.
