Limpopo province in Sekhukhune district

The last day of September, we closed this month with capacity building for drama and music workshop which was facilitated by Mr Joseph Nchabeleng who is well known by Marumo a Ngwato and Mr Wesley Makola.

The three arts centre which is Leboneng arts centre, Zamani African Theatre and Achievers arts centre has joined hands to develop the artistic skills of young creatives of Sekhukhune district. Working together we will achieve more.

Kgarebe Tsa Merihla was also inputting to the workshop by doing the theatrical games with the kids while the workshop facilitators takes a breaks.

Kgarebe Tsa Merihla at Tsimanyane in Limpopo province was celebrating heritage by instilling the confidence and encouraging the plus sized youth to love and admire them self irrespective of their appearance .

Kgarebe Tsa Merihla at Mmanthole pre school busy teaching the kids theatre games and songs that helps them to unlock their minds.The community of Tsimanyane, Mashemong, Ditholong are very lucky to have this creative soldiers who admires their careers in arts industry.

As we all know that every work place must be clean for hygiene wise we started by tidying the arts center yard And joined by the kids in the afternoon.

We then used 67 minutes playing netball with the kids.lastly we continued with dance rehearsal which we call it The animal dance.

Our community is drilled to have this arts practitioners, this week Mmanthole pre school approached kgarebe Tsa Merihla for assistance in arts activities. This pre school is in our neighboring village and for that we are really appreciating and respecting that people really acknowledge our work.

Then there it goes at The arts centres , we are transferring the skills to the kids by teaching them how to use a sewing machines and also how to play with the beads by creating earrings and hairbelts.
