"𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘" 🥰⏰

Last Saturday, I had the privilege of attending Uitenhage High School's 60th anniversary gala. and WOW.....

The evening was nothing short of amazing with majestic décor, awesome energy, great music, incredible food, and the joy of reconnecting with familiar faces I hadn’t seen in a long time. ✨

It reminded me of something important—especially for us as single parents, though it applies to everyone: that we must find balance in our lives. It's easy to pour all of our energy into our children and work, ensuring their needs are met, giving them our everything and more.
BUT in doing so, we often forget to nurture ourselves.😕

Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. Taking time to recharge helps us be better parents, better people, and allows us to give from a place of abundance, not exhaustion. So, let's remind ourselves that "me time" is just as crucial as anything else on our to-do lists. Finding that balance is key to thriving, not just surviving. 💪🏽

Dear Friends, I urge you to just once-in a while, pull back, unwind and make it all about YOU!😉

"I Am God's Masterpiece"

There’s something deeply powerful in the realization that I am God’s masterpiece. When I look at myself through the lens of faith, I see more than my flaws, insecurities, or the mistakes I’ve made. I see a reflection of God’s love and creativity.

Ephesians 2:10 reminds us, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." This truth speaks to the core of my identity—I'm not just an ordinary creation. I am uniquely designed with purpose and intention by the Creator of the universe. Every part of me, the strengths, the weaknesses, and even the things I struggle to understand, are all part of God’s intricate design.

Being a masterpiece means that I am a work of art, continuously shaped by God's hand. Sometimes the process involves moments of refining and growth, and at times, it requires letting go and trusting the artist's vision. But through it all, I can rest in the assurance that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and my value is not determined by worldly standards, but by God's love.

So today, I stand in the truth of who I am—a masterpiece of God, loved, cherished, and called to fulfill the unique purpose He has set for me.
