"I don’t care how spiritual you are. How long you can melt in the sweat lodge. How many pe**te or ayahuasca journeys that have blown your mind, how many master plant diets you’ve done or how well you can hold crow pose. I don’t care what planets fall in what houses on your birth chart, or how “silent” your meditation is. I don’t care how many crystals you have or how long you’ve gone without sugar, salt, spices or s*x or how vegan your diet is.

I want to know how human you are. Can you sit at the feet of the dying despite the discomfort? Can you be with your grief, or mine, without trying to advise, fix or maintain it? I want to know that you can show up at the table no matter how shiny, chakra- aligned or complete you are- or not. Can you hold loving space for your beloveds in the depths of your own healing without trying to be big?

It doesn’t flatter me how many online healing trainings you have, that you live in the desert, forest or in a log cabin, or that you’ve mastered the art of ta**ra.

What turns me on is busy hands. Planting roots. That despite how tired you are, you make that phone call, you board that plane, you love your children, you feed your family.

I have no interest in how well you can ascend to 5D, astral travel or have out of body s*x. I want to see how beautifully you integrate into ordinary reality with your unique magic, how you find beauty and gratitude in what’s surrounding you, and how present you can be in your relationships. How do you hold the ones you love in the midst of conflict? How do you take responsibility for your part? How do you make amends?

I want to know that you can show up and do the hard and holy things on this gorgeously messy Earth. I want to see that you can be sincere, grounded and compassionate as equally as you are empowered, fiery and magnetic. I want to know that even during your achievements, you can step back and be humble enough to still be a student.

What’s beautiful and s*xy and authentic is how well you can continue to celebrate others no matter how advanced you’ve become. What’s truly flattering is how much you can give despite how full you’ve made yourself. What’s honestly valuable is how f***ing better of a human you can be, in a world that is high off of spiritual materialism and jumping the next scapegoat for “freedom.”

At the end of the day I don’t care how brave you are. How productive, how popular, how enlightened you are. At the end of the day, I want to know that you were kind. That you were real. I want to know that you can step down from the pedestal from time to time to kiss the earth and let your hair get dirty and your feet get muddy, and join the dance with us all."

The further I walk on my Life-journey, the more I learn..
ღ Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
ღ When in doubt, just take the next small step.
ღ Life is too short – enjoy it..
ღ Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
ღ Pay off your credit cards every month.
ღ You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.
ღ Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
ღ Save for retirement starting with your first pay check.
ღ When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
ღ Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
ღ It's okay to let your children see you cry.
ღ Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
ღ If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it...
ღ Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
ღ Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways.
ღ Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
ღ It's never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else.
ღ When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
ღ Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
ღ Over prepare, then go with the flow.
ღ Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
ღ The most important s*x organ is the brain.
ღ No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
ღ Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, 'will this matter?'
ღ Always choose life.
ღ Forgive but don’t forget.
ღ What other people think of you is none of your business.
ღ Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
ღ However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
ღ Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does..
ღ Believe in miracles.
ღ Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
ღ Growing old beats the alternative of dying young.
ღ Your children get only one childhood.
ღ All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
ღ Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
ღ If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
ღ Envy is a waste of time. Accept what you already have not what you need.
ღ The best is yet to come...
ღ No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
ღ Yield.
ღ Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

What has time taught you?
30/03/2022

What has time taught you?

If this Time..
If this time has taught me anything, it is that the tiny spec in this universe that we occupy, is both wonderful and wondrous, and if we allow it to, the beauty around us can unlock the beauty within us; and teach us far more than our schooling ever did.

If this time has taught me anything, it is that success and how we measure it, needs to be refined, and that the only person to whom you should ever compare yourself, is who you were yesterday.
Make your growth game strong, and along the way, be kind to yourself – if you are doing your best, then you are doing enough.

If this time has taught me anything, it is that it is more important now than ever before, to see the world through your own eyes. Begin by looking at yourself. Look honestly and look gently, look inward with compassion and kindness, and look outward with humility and appreciation.

If this time has taught me anything, it is that the opposite of love is not hate, but fear – and our greatest fear is losing that to which we have become attached.
Yesterday is heavy, put it down.
Seeing the beauty in the world around you is the first step in purifying and clearing the mind and if this time has taught me anything, it is that nature, unlike us, never apologizes for her beauty.

If this time has taught me anything, it is that life really is about the journey, not the destination, and it must be, for surely we are not here merely to reach the destination, for the destination is death.
Be alive, for after all, life is all you’ve got, and when you pay attention to the things for which you are grateful, you soon forget about what you think you’re missing.

If this time has taught me anything, it is that bitter tears are the quietest, and on the days your head wants to hang low, it is important that you look up. Lift your head. Take it in, and breathe deep, for while this world can sometimes be a hard place, your reality and what you perceive it to be, are seldom aligned.

If this time has taught me anything, is that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. We can see universes within universes – and only when we pay enough attention, and this is as true of the nature within us, as it is of the nature around us.

If this time has taught me anything, it is this:
If true love conquers everything, the self-love gives it the fortitude to do so.
Know that you are more than your scars – know that every wound in you that has healed along the way has taught you what it is to fight back; and start again from where you are, with what you’ve got.
Beat your own pathway without seeking the approval of others and know that self-love is not vanity.

If this time has taught me anything, it is this:
HOPE matters, and we cannot live without it. This time has taught me that HOPE is not a wish, nor a desire for things to be different. It is a course of action, a combination of mind and heart.
The future can be better and can be brighter, and we each have the power within us to make it so.
There will be challenges along the way, to which there are many solutions. There is a source of resilience deep within us all.

If this time does not teach that time itself is precious, then we will have missed the lesson. The lesson that never before have the past and the future been so irrelevant, and that the quest to “find ourselves” has been fruitless to now; only because we have been searching in all the wrong places.

We are here, we are now. We are each and every breath we take.

Every day is a gift – a gift to begin again, and to grasp with both hands, the fresh opportunity to learn, unlearn and re-learn. If this time is not wasted.

Such wise words

Such wise words

Everyone has an extra baggage and untold pages. To be kind and to be compassionate are never hard to offer. You may have known some pages of someone else's story but you have never read through every detail of his entire chapter. You may have seen the path someone's taking in but you have never experienced every rough road he encounters. You may have heard that person laughing but you have never felt and knew his pain.

Avoid telling a story out of the dense judgment you have for someone. His story is different from yours—there's no the same, exact, similar shoe that could fit yours and fit everyone else's.

Remember, everyone is struggling, and so are you. Choose to be kind and avoid invalidating someone's struggles just because you see it nothing as compared to yours.

Always choose to be the good and bigger person because you can, you are capable.

You are capable.

Such lovely, uplifting words

This week there are going to be days when you won’t have the energy or drive to get out of bed.
There are going to be days when you’re going to want to give up – give up on love, life, or school.
The thing is, you’re not allowed to give up.
You were given a life and you’re supposed to live it.
The truth is that the seventy or eighty years that you’re given isn't long enough to do the things you’re supposed to do.
Sure, you’re going to hit a few bumps along the way, but you've got to pick yourself up and move on.
Life is unpredictable and things might not always work out the way you want them to, but that’s no reason to give up.
You’re here for a reason and someday when you’re not expecting it, you’re going to discover your reason for being here.
And when that does happen, your life will never be the same again..

27/03/2022

You are not lost. You are here. Stop abandoning yourself. Stop repeating this myth about love and success that will land in your lap or evade you forever. Build a humble, flawed life from the rubble, and cherish that.

There is nothing more glorious on the face of the earth than someone who refuses to give up, who refuses to give in to their most self-hating, discouraged, disillusioned self, and instead learns, slowly and painfully, how to relish the feeling of building a hut in the middle of the suffocating dust.

If you can learn to be where you are, without fear, then sooner than you know it, your life will quite naturally be filled with more love and more wonder than you can possibly handle. When that happens, you’ll look back and see that this was the most romantic time of your whole life. These are those terrible days, those gorgeous days, when you first learned to breathe and stand alone without fear, to believe not in finish lines but in the race itself.

Your legs are aching and your heart is pounding and the world is electric. You will have 30 years or 50 years, or maybe you’ll be gone tomorrow. All that matters is this moment, right now. This is the moment you learn to be here, to feel your limbs, to feel your full heart, to realize, for the first time, just how lucky you are.

Darling, go ahead and just love your life. Take pictures of everything. Capture the moments, big and small, that make you feel alive. Tell people you love them. And mean it- truly mean it. Talk to random strangers. Learn their stories. Do all the things you're afraid of and stop playing small. Stop being worried about all that can go wrong when the only thing that that matters is all the magic that could go right. There is so much life to be lived. So much love to receive. Open yourself up. Bloom.

TAKE THE PEN

I don’t remember when it happened,
the day I realised I couldn’t please everyone after all.
The day it sunk in that no-one can truly do that.

If I could remember the day exactly, I would celebrate it.
Every year.
Like a birthday or a wedding.
Because that was the day I really started to live.
The day I gave myself a gift.

We are not here for a long time my friends, so if you are living to please, living to pander, living to ‘fit in’, you are wasting those precious grains of sand that swiftly fall through the hole.

Your journey is not the same as those who went before you, you do not have to follow a path or fulfil an expectation.
Your story should be written by you, never for you.

Take the pen.
Type the words.
Turn the page.
Open your mind and let your imagination build your future.

For you.

If this chapter isn't bringing you joy,
Rewrite it.
It’s your book.

Slow down and breathe

Slow down and breathe

Full Moon in Virgo Blessings

When I find myself out of balance
or lost in chaos,
I take a deep breath
and reconnect to my centre.

I breathe my roots into the earth
and fill my body with light.
I release the heaviness
and relax my muscles.

I know that I will find my way eventually,
as I have always done before.
I remember how blessed I am,
how protected
and how cared for.

I come back to myself,
and feel all of who I am
and release all that isn't me.

ONE TINY STEP

When things get tough, really tough.
And you don’t have the will, the answers or the energy to fight any more.
There is only one way to go,
Forward.
One tiny, tiny step, at a time.
If you can’t see the way forward, look, quite simply, for the very next step.
Take that.
You’re moving.
One tiny step at a time.
Eat something.
Read something
Watch something.
Answer one text.
Send one email.
Shower.
Any of these steps will keep you moving and keep you afloat.
Congratulate yourself and rest.

Your body is not impervious to the stresses of the times and your brain is both overloaded and undernourished.
Your wellbeing thrives on freedom, sunshine, love, joy and none of these are in supply right now.

So, one tiny step at a time my friend.
Do not add pressure to be perfect to your list of worries right now,

there is no space for that.

You, the real you,
knows the truth.
The truth is you aren’t the things that have happened to you..
You aren’t the things you’ve done..
You aren’t the things you failed to do..
You aren’t your wounds or the ones you inflicted.. You aren’t your regrets..
You aren’t in any way a should have, could have, or would have..
You are fully human and fully divine.
You are the very incarnation of God.
No not the only one, but no less than one.
The unique prism of your life reminds us of who we are too.
Thank you for your colors.
Thank you for your light.
Thank you for being a stained-glass picture window story of glory.

"When a major loss rips the umbrella you made out of faith from your hands, and you find yourself being pelted with doubt and drenched in tears, do not blame yourself. For it’s not that you didn’t hang onto your faith tightly enough. It’s just that some of life’s storms are stronger than the human hand or heart. But rest assured, your soul is mighty enough to keep you holding on until you can grasp your faith again." Sandra Kring

Remember to be gentle with yourself as well as with others

Remember to be gentle with yourself as well as with others

May you see today how truly beautiful you are,
may you learn to love and respect yourself and most of all,
may you forgive yourself for all your little imperfections
and the not-so-good choices you have made through this lifetime journey,
they are after all what makes you human
and what makes you learn and grow..

What a beautiful way to spend a day. Try some of it every day

What a beautiful way to spend a day. Try some of it every day

Just for Today
smile at a stranger
listen to someone's heart
drop a coin where a child can find it
learn something new, then teach it to someone
tell someone you're thinking of them
hug a loved one
don't hold a grudge
don't be afraid to say "I'm sorry"
look a child in the eye and tell them how great they are
don't kill that spider in your house, he's just lost so show him the way out
look beyond the face of a person into their heart
make a promise, and keep it
call someone, for no other reason than to just say "Hi"
show kindness to an animal
stand up for what you believe in
smell the rain, feel the breeze, listen to the wind
use all your senses to their fullest
cherish all your Todays..

It’s the simple things,
The rituals you keep,
The way you speak to yourself
How you react to the unexpected
That determines the quality of your life.

It’s not how impressive you can make your life seen to others. It’s the way you can extract lessons and growth, from even the most challenging situations.

It’s not how many friends you have but how many friends you connect with, who sees the truth of you.

The simplest things can often be the hardest in a world that told us simplistically isn’t enough.

Your joy is found in true grounded gratitude. It’s found in respecting. Showing up for, and being honest with yourself.
It’s found in listening to your emotions instead of busting yourself out of them.

We think we have to earn our well-being, but it’s always available to us. Don’t mistake the world’s definition of a “good Life” for your own, for the simplicity of what truly matters to you.

This world have you chasing down sh*t that doesn’t matter. When you can access joy in the simplicity of life everything becomes magical
