Things Taken for Granted

As far as taking things for granted goes Covid 19 has truly reminded me a couple of things that i have been taking for granted, simple things like human contact the gift of being outside and feeling the sunshine. I came to realise this the time I tested for positive for Covid19😷.

I was fortunate enough to get the mild symptoms and I say fortunate because others have not been, people have died and are still dying. Covid 19 has a ripple effect it just doesn't affect health but it has a psychological effect, financial effect and people do not understand that when we are told to stay at home it is for our own good. It is done to shield us from companies having to close down because there were cases of Covid found and thus risking our livelihood😭.

When you only have yourself and the four walls that surround you, you get lonely. I never thought I could get lonely because I love being by myself but no matter how much you love your own company being by yourself for days on end will drive you stir crazy.I am soo thankful for the calls and messages I got from my family, my church family, friends and acquaintances, they kept me sane😊.

Through all this I came away with a couple of things:

1. The importance of having people around you (friends and family).
2. Keeping yourself occupied so that you do not think too much.
3. Never taking anything for granted.

I live with the hope that like in the picture below 👇 we shall be going out again with no mask, feel the sun on our faces. I vowed to myself that i am going to go on all the adventures that i can, I am going to do all the Back to our roots games, make beautiful memories in beautiful places and CF Events is going to make all this possible

While we cannot go out there and do what we love, we will in the meantime love to share with you a bit more about CF Events😁.

Please meet the F in CF Events. Her name is Fhatuwani though the she prefers the shorter version "Fhatu" don't worry much if you cannot pronounce it takes years trust me I know what I am talking about, it has taken me 7+ years and i still haven't gotten it right🙈.

These are some fun facts about her:
*She loves laughter.
*She jokes a lot.
*She loves seeing people happy 😊 🤷🏽‍♀
*She is very adventurous, though she's scared of heights but she makes an effort.
*She loves trying out new things, though she sucks in most of those 😁😁😁😁, but that does not bother her coz she fakes it till she gets it right or not 🤣🤣🤣
*She can't run to save her life,but Its quite obvious🤣😅😅😅
*She looks quiet but don't be deceived, she talks too much, just needs to be comfortable first.
*She loves to cook and she has been trying her hand at baking and designing cakes.
