This weekend we satisfied some cravings for delicious party foods for the Gibhard family. Melon, Cured ham & Feta skewers, Prawn & Pea Crostinis, Meatballs with a sweet & sour dipping sauce, Sticky Chicken wings, mini Bacon & Cheese Quiches, crispy Fish strips with a caper mayo dip, Brazilian Beef kebabs, Pork & Chorizo sausage rolls with a chilli tomato dip and ending is off with Rocky Road crunchbars and Milktart Handpies.

We gave a Morroccan twist to a delicious Lamb on the spit for a 58th birthday celebration for the Wolfaardt family. From scrumtipous finger starters to a culinary feast. Sumac, Harrissa, Ras al Hanout - some of our special North African spices used.

We surely raised the bar with our 3rd Annual Family Christmas Lunch for the Aarons family. With a "White Christmas" as our brief, we kept it simple yet elegant. Thanks to The Filthy Moustache for our food truck experience while we added some of our own taste experiences for the day. Now the question is, how are we going to top that with Christmas 2022...

We are grateful to have gone to level 3. It has given us the opportunity to host and celebrate little Che's 6th birthday with close family. What better way to celebrate with lots of pizza and some creative painting. Granny even made sure she had a couple of brushstrokes under the belt.

A priviledge to bring this 120 year old mansion back to life. Northwards Mansion, build in 1904 and owned by the 2nd Baron and his eccentric wife, Josy Dale Lace. Here is where the Randlords of old celebrated in style. Foodprepping setup and hosting with a delicious Harvest Table and mini dessert buffet with Catering Edge. Josy made her mark by having her carriage drawn by zebras around old Joburg.

A Sunday Solo with Catering Edge. 200 wedding guests enjoyed a lunchtime Harvest table followed later that evening with a plated starter and main course ending off with a mini dessert buffet. All in the beautiful surroundings of Shepstone Gardens.

This weekend we went solo with Catering Edge to feed the masses. A beautiful farm wedding in the heart of the karoo for 200 guests and 50 event staff all glamping and celebrating over the weekend. From karoo lamb gyros, a scrumptious breakfast spread, afternoon canapes, a plated dinner and of course braaibroodtjies at midnight while they partied. Blessed to play our little part.
