What a fantastic night! Club Vibes was "off the hook"...

Introducing our third DJ for Club Vibes - Steve Melodic

Steve Melodic, a DJ and producer with over a decade of experience, has always been driven by his passion for music. His journey began as a teenager, where he was captivated by genres like Thunderdome and Hardcore Gabber, regularly bringing his own CDs to house parties. As the crowd responded positively to his selection, Steve's desire to bring the energy of the dance floor to life grew stronger. By his early twenties, Steve was attending clubs weekly, watching DJs and learning their craft, eagerly dreaming of taking the stage himself.

As a fitness instructor in his twenties, Steve used his musical talents to pump up gym-goers with thumping beats, which only further affirmed his instinct for curating impactful music. Encouraged by friends who appreciated his musical taste, he took the leap in 2011 and taught himself how to DJ using a free program called Virtual DJ. While his early mixes were rough around the edges, his keen sense of musical selection shone through, laying the foundation for his future as a DJ.

By his thirties, Steve had honed his skills, mixing more harmoniously and mastering key techniques. He began to receive international recognition for his mixes on SoundCloud, even creating personalized mixes for his gym members, who eagerly supported and promoted his growing career. His hard work paid off in 2017 when he entered the Mix To Win competition on MixCloud, where he earned notable rankings across multiple categories, including Electro, EDM, and Trance.

In addition to his growing online presence, Steve’s performances have graced prestigious venues like Truth, ESP, Madison Avenue, and Presley’s Night Club, as well as major festivals like Wizards Of Trance and Twilight. As an artist, Steve Melodic has released music on renowned labels such as Redux Recordings, Alveda Music, We Are Trance, and Yeiskomp Recordings. With 13 years of DJing experience and 8 years in music production, Steve continues to live and breathe his passion for music, aiming to transform lives through the universal language of sound.

Introducing our second DJ for Club Vibes - DJ QNV

DJ QNV, a passionate and dynamic talent from Johannesburg, has a lifelong love affair with music. Growing up during the iconic 80s band explosion, he drew inspiration from legendary acts like REM, Depeche Mode, U2, and Duran Duran. However, his true calling emerged in the underground dance music scene, attending groundbreaking raves and clubs such as Splash, Mother, ESP, and Hideout, which left an indelible mark on his musical journey.

In 2003, DJ QNV began experimenting with Virtual DJ, impressing friends and audiences alike with his innate ability to create captivating sets. His love for the underground sound led him to perform at a small club in Palmerston North, New Zealand, during the 2011 Rugby World Cup. These experiences solidified his passion for DJing and set the stage for his unique artistic style.

After a 13-year hiatus from the dance club scene, DJ QNV has returned with renewed energy and a commitment to his craft. Thanks to the encouragement of a close-knit group of friends, he has reimmersed himself in the global dance music landscape, embracing the latest trends while staying true to his roots. His sets showcase an eclectic blend of melodic tech and progressive uplifting trance, designed to take audiences on a journey through sound.

With his dedication to pushing boundaries and sharing his love for music, DJ QNV continues to make his mark in the dance music community. Each performance reflects his passion and storytelling ability, inviting listeners to experience the magic of his unique musical perspective.
