Everything is still quite in and around town
Thank you to all parties participating in patrols tonight to help ensure the safety of our town!
On Friday we hosted a massive patrol in Kathu. One of the prizes was given to the patroller who could drive the most kilometers whilst patrolling our town. Afriforum Kathu donated a brand new spotlight as a prize.
Congratulations to Lourens Uys who drove a massive 146.9km. This is a remarkable achievement
Mass patrol was held between various stakeholders in Kathu
The aim is to be more visible in town because crime is on the rise

Tonight on patrols through town we came across branches and tree stumps in Ian Flemming Street.
We tried to clear most of the big ones out of the road but please be on the lookout when passing.

Tonight we had our monthly meeting.
SAPS gave a crime overview of June 2022 in comparison to June 2023 and informed everyone of the crime hotspot of Kathu.
We also discussed important problems in our town and solutions to better them.
