From time to time one comes across people with the most incredible perspective on life! We had some special visitors recently from Ghana, but South African to the core! She shared her experience with us at Crystal Barn and surrounds and her love for everything ordinary! Thank you My Marvellous Mundane this is gold!

The most underplayed plant for brides is a FERN! For the love of FERNS…can we just take a minute to enjoy their intricate little stems, their tiny little leaves, and the space they fill??
They are fast becoming a fav for brides and table decor. They allow for a soft addition of greenery without adding too much of a presence, but rather a hint of direction, and subtle rounding of any visual.

What a happy family!! We LOVE these pics from Emily and Scott…
They were supposed to get married with us at the start of Jan 2021, but with new restrictions they could not have the wedding that they wanted, so in the meanwhile they shared the weekend with their nearest and dearest at Crystal Barn and had an absolute BLAST! They have postponed their big day to later on in 2021 and we cannot wait to see them again!!
Life throws these curve balls, but heres a beautiful lesson....choose HAPPY - everyday!

We’ve had to make the terribly hard decision to close our restaurant to the public and from 1 November will only be serving breakfast and dinner to Crystal Barn guests.

We are still available for private dining functions for more than 10 people, and do keep an eye on our pages for details of extended opening times over peak season.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Crystal Barn restaurant, but for now it’s farewell x
