Our Story...
From my desk...
I am the Owner and Founder of Set Your Table (Pty) Ltd, René Cronjé. I have an exceptional passion for events and specifically the décor thereof. I spent most of my professional career working in the corporate environment and one day I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dreams. Slowly but surely I laid a rock solid foundation for the business to ensure that quality service can be delivered. I have an immense passion for people and I strive to make any event dream a very close reality. I am quite the philosopher and one of my favorite quotes is that of Walt Disney: “If you can dream it, you can do it.”
I take pride in my work and will gladly walk the extra mile. No event is too big or too small, from your wedding to your baby shower... We’ll walk with you every step of the way!
Life is a journey, and as much as we look forward to the end destination of each season of our lives, it is the journey we often forget to embrace and enjoy. Each season comes with its own lessons, smiles and tears. If we embrace these seasons and spend our time wisely, we will have an amazing view when we look back on our lives and the very special moments. These special moments are our child’s first birthday party, the romantic dinner at home for Valentine’s Day, our best friend’s 30th dress-up party, the perfect wedding day we dream of or Granny’s 70th birthday where the whole family puts aside their differences.
