Creating something with materials you love is so satisfactory. Made this flowercrown with fresh flowers, my favourite succulents and dried plant material.

It's been a while since appearing on Instagram. But, who can blame me when I was able to visit my son and his new famile abroad and it was the most exciting time.

This is the exhilarating month of September when the 'veld' gets out of it's winter slumber and it is gorgeous. At the moment the mountains are clad in yellow with patches of purple.

I started to make flower crowns to get back to creating and making things I love. It was such a satisfying feeling making it from scratch and getting my hands dirty and use my creative juices.

Today my world is showing off it's beauty because we are celebrating the diversity of cultures in our country tomorrow.

So enjoy creating in your part of the world
