For my candid approach to capturing your day I love to set up real moments that are captured in a controlled way, this could be making sure you are set up in a well lit area or moving some background elements out of the shot to make it look more appealing.

At the end of the day it is about what helps make a photo look and feel authentic and not too overpower while still looking appealing.

A glorious Durban winter’s day filled with love, laughter, family, and celebration of a love that was meant to be.

My first time photographing a bride walking down the aisle to “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and the Champions League anthem being played as Kirsten and Lovolen entered the reception (football fans you will get this reference).

There are certain things that are out of our control as couples and as wedding photographers and the weather is probably top of the list - my advice is to be prepared for all kinds of weather, stay up to date with the forecasts and most importantly….embrace whatever weather comes your way on the day! It ended up raining for my own wedding and Amy and I made plans, embraced it and we actually wouldn’t change a thing! 😊🙌🏻

2024 booking are filling up - crazy to think that enquiries for 2025 have already started to roll through 😱 Make sure you at least start making contact with your wedding service providers to see their availability before it is too late 🫠

Engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable posing as a couple in front of a camera and even more so when it is with the photographer that will potentially take your wedding photos. I always use this as a time to get to know my couples better so on the day the nerves are gone which results in more natural and authentic photos ✨
