The start of a new month is always a good time to take a moment, breathe and move forward with greater clarity.

On the last Wednesday of the month we go to a local community restaurant - support local! Even though it’s not Wednesday it’s still the end of the month and we went to Filotimo - a beautifully cultural Greek restaurant with the most incredible food.

We had the best Greek food, from homemade pita bread, melt in your mouth feta, to ,surprisingly, the best Turkish baklava. And De Boss said she had the best dolmades and skinny lamb chops she’s ever had - so she definitely recommends those dishes.

Filotimo doesn’t just stop there. The aesthetic, family photos on the walls, friendly smiles and vibrant mix of music ties Filotimo together.

Although, not all of us were at Filotimo - the rest of the team was at Café Civara in beautiful Plett. The cafe has a beautifully designed interior, quality cuisine and desserts you won’t feel bad for having😉.

Strong PR sharpens your message, strengthens your reliability and helps people understand who you are and why your words matter. It creates credibility, supports visibility and gives your brand a story worth paying attention to.

Poor PR is often reactive, unclear and focused only on chasing coverage for the sake of it. It may create activity, but not impact.

Yes, the planning matters. The timing matters. The running order matters. But if that is all an event is, then something important is being missed.

Yes, press releases still have a role to play, but PR also includes strategic thinking, media relations, reputation management, thought leadership and content that supports long-term brand visibility.
