It's that time of week again. Meet the team Friday. This week meet Kerry Oliver, aka Ke/Kez/Care Bear/Momzo/Maaitjie!
When she's not busy being our go-to movie guru with a suggestion up her sleeve, Kerry loves to unwind by painting and exploring antique, second-hand, and thrift stores. 🎨🛍️

If she could have any superpower, Kerry would choose the ability to fly. ✈️ Imagine travelling the world without worrying about travel expenses - how amazing would that be?

Here's a surprising fact: Kerry always enjoys engaging with strangers and leaving them with a smile. 😊 She loves her life to be filled with laughter and has a delightfully wicked sense of humour. Plus, perfect nails and a great perfume make her very happy! 💅✨

Her go-to karaoke songs? Kerry is a closet karaoke fan and sings to herself in her bedroom on weekends. Her top picks are “Cruel Summer” by Taylor Swift (yes, she's a closet Swiftie), “I Love It” by Icona Pop, and “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. 🎤🎶 And let's not forget, she loves anything country!

🌟 Meet Tyler Oliver, aka T or Ty! 🌟

When this chatty co-worker leaves the office, he loves to unwind with his favourite video games. 🎮 Nothing beats the thrill of a good game after a long day!

If he could have any superpower, Ty would choose the ability to go back in time. ⏳ reliving those epic moments or changing the outcome of events – how cool would that be?

Here's a surprising fact: Tyler was a professional esports player for 3 years! 🏆 Yip, who would have guessed! He was rated one of the top players in the country and travelled across Africa and the Middle East to compete. Go Tyler!

His go-to karaoke song? Any pop song from the early 2000s will get him going, but if he had to choose, it would be "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas. 🎤🎶

Japan would be his top pick if he could travel anywhere in the world. Japan has everything from cars and nightlife to huge cities and fantastic food. Plus, exploring other Asian cultures would be an incredible experience!

Support Local Wednesdays!

The last Wednesday of every month, we visit a local restaurant or coffee shop. Supporting local means giving back to the community and creating more opportunities for others to thrive.

This week, we couldn’t resist returning to The Village Café, their food is simply divine! Just look at how delicious our meals look! If you haven’t been yet, you have to try them out - the atmosphere and vibe are incredible and the staff are a credit to the restaurant. Where should we go next? Do you have any recommendations?

Today was a great day as we rolled out The Rand Show 2025 Media Launch at The Johannesburg Expo Centre, NASREC. Key media were invited to get a sneak peek of what The Rand Show has in store.

The excitement with the announcements as to what's new at the show, was palpable. We can't wait for the show to commence on the 17th of April.

When she's not dazzling us with her impeccable style, Tebogo loves to unwind by lazing around on the couch, watching reality TV, and indulging in snacks. 🍿📺

If she could have any superpower, she'd choose the healing touch. Imagine being able to heal people with just a touch! 👐💫

Here's a surprising fact: Tebogo has a slight case of OCD. She's constantly wiping stuff and tidying up – sometimes, people think she's cleaning up after them! 🧼🧹

Her go-to karaoke song? "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims! 🎤🎶 You go girl – we love it too.

If she could travel anywhere in the world, the Maldives would be her top pick. 🌴🏝️ With its crystal-clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches, and lush palm trees, it's the perfect paradise. Plus, can you imagine the amazing pictures she'd get there?! 📸✨

Speaking of pictures, did we mention that Tee is our selfie queen? 📱👑 Any moment is a photo op for her, and that's why she's always looking her very best!
