Pedros Asado Spitbraai operates in Kariega, Gqeberha and surrounding areas. The Asado Spitbraai concept originated in Argentina. The family Spitbraai tradition was initiated by my grandparents Pedro & Matilde who were born in Argentina and grew up with Asado Spitbraai. "Asado" translates to โMeat from the Spitโ. Upon return to South Africa, they introduced this method of Spitbraai to us with momentous success. They currently hold the record for the most lamb on a spit prepared at the same time, which is fifty lambs on the spit at the Montague Wine Festival. Today their sons and grandsons are still preparing meat the Asado way. Since we moved from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape, we decided that we would love to share this special Spitbraai experience with everybody that is looking for a unique Spitbraai in Kariega, Gqeberha and surrounding areas.
