Dai-Lynn Finnis, a talented and ambitious young woman from the Free State, has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Miss Junior SA 2025 pageant, hosted by Pageants SA.

In April 2025, Dai-Lynn will take the national stage in Pretoria, competing against top contestants from across South Africa. As she prepares for this exciting opportunity, Dai-Lynn is embracing National Tourism Month by exploring the country's breathtaking attractions.

Recently, Dai-Lynn has visited The Butterfly Effect at the Sudwala Caves in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, grounding her passion for South Africa's natural beauty and rich heritage. This experience not only highlighted the country's stunning landscapes but has also demonstrated Dai-Lynn's commitment to promoting tourism and community development.

As Dai-Lynn gears up to represent the Free State province at the national pageant, her dedication to empowering young women and celebrating South Africa's diversity shines through. We wish Dai-Lynn the best of luck on her Miss Junior SA 2025 journey!

MISS & MR JNR, UNIVERSAL & SIR SOUTH AFRICA 2024 CROWNED IN PRETORIA WEST

Pretoria West, 24th March 2024 - The 25th Jubilee Annual crowning event of the Miss & Mr Jnr South Africa pageant 2024 as well as the Miss & Mr Universal South Africa Pageant took place at the ACPP Hall, marking a significant milestone in the history of pageantry in South Africa.

Founded in 2000 by Carolyn Baldwin, the Miss & Mr Jnr South Africa pageant aimed to restore the authenticity of pageantry in the country while providing a fair platform for contestants. With over 22 years of history, the pageant has crowned over 8500 winners across various PAGEANTS SA events and engaged in over 500,000 charity events, benefiting over 4 million individuals to date.

This year's event showcased a unique approach to philanthropy, with contestants actively involved in securing sponsorships to support Dignity Dreams NPO, providing washable and reusable sanitary pads to those in need, and fundraising for tertiary education fees for deserving individuals in their communities as well as supporting The African Queen Foundation with pre-loved clothing and stationary for the school we support in Pomene in Mozambique each year. With more than 5 tons of clothing and stationary collected, we are thrilled in the change we will bring to the small rural community of Pomene.

The pageant winners, together with their runners-up, are bestowed with various titles, empowering them to engage in charity and community work within their regions. Activities include visiting hospitals, AIDS homes, children's and old age homes, as well as participating in fundraising events.

The judging process, held at the ACPP Hall, comprised personal interviews and ramp walks featuring Casual Wear and Evening Wear segments.

The newly crowned winners will dedicate the next 12 months to community service initiatives. To witness the impact of previous titleholders' charitable endeavours, visit PAGEANTS SA page or website.

In addition to local commitments, the winners have the honour of representing South Africa at international pageants, including Little & Mr/Miss Teen Universe/World, Globe, Planet & International in Turkey in May 2024.

After months of hard work as a finalist, I am excited for my reign as a titleholder and the opportunities and responsibilities that come with it.

In that being said, this achievement does not belong to me alone, but to each person who supported me on this journey.
