I am now entering a new adventure in my life and i’m so excited to share it with the Taranaki community.
Im Chantelle, wife to Cory and mother to my beautiful children Alani and Lowca. I have lived in Taranaki for the last 15 years and now class it as my forever home. I love everything about Taranaki as a region but the thing that has captivated me most is the people. The sense of family within this region is nothing you experience anywhere else and i love it !
I have worked with people for all of my working life and i have been described as kind, open and laidback. I’m fun, energetic and always up for a laugh. I have always been an empathetic person, honest and loyal which i feel are some of my best attributes. I have always had a creative side to me as well and i love nothing more than turning a simple something into something wonderful.
Becoming a Celebrant:
I have always searched for something that i can show off my best qualities while doing something i really enjoy and after being to a few weddings and always being interested in the funeral industry i found my calling with becoming a celebrant. So i took the plunge, applied and here i am !
I first wanted to become a celebrant when i realized it fits everything i enjoy in life. I get to be creative with my writing, share time and conversation with incredible people and help turn something so simple into something amazing. Being a celebrant allows me to express how important these life events are for us as human beings and i cant wait to spread the passion i have with others.
As a celebrant i can create an everlasting bond with families therefore giving you a personalized, unique and special ceremony that will be written with love and to how you want it. No templates, no quotes from google images it will all come from you as a couple or family.
Weddings and Civil Unions:
As your celebrant we will meet as people who share the same goal, to have your wedding day go as perfectly as you could have ever imagined. I want to know your story and how you got to where you are today to find out more about you as a couple. I’m a very easy going person so there will always be laughter and all of our meetings will be done with you being comfortable and confident.
Marriage brings us together and i want nothing more than to work with couples to ensure they get a personalized, unique experience that makes their big day something to treasure for the rest of their lives.
I understand that getting married can be a daunting process and i know that there is nothing worse than a ceremony that has nothing to do with you as a couple. I promise to any couple i work with that the ceremony created will represent them and nothing different. I want to ensure that all couples leave their fears at the door and we can make this day stress free and everything they have ever dreamed of.
I will support you as a couple from the first time we meet right through your planning journey until crunch time where i will help with rehearsal and then of course officiating your big day.

Funerals:
This is a life event that i want to share with families to ensure that they have the support they require to find peace and happiness within a time of grief.
Death can be a difficult time for all and as your celebrant i want to work with your family on a personal level to ensure the person we are celebrating can depart this world with the ceremony they deserve.
The role of a funeral celebrant is an incredible honor and i will always treat it as such when working with you. Throughout the process of preparing your loved ones ceremony we will share stories, laugh, cry and find a way to celebrate their life in a way you find to be the best fit.
As your celebrant i will always be there to provide support, reassurance and love towards your family through this tough time and i hope together we can find you peace in knowing your loved ones memory will always be one that is treasured by all who knew them.
