I had the pleasure of being asked by Matty and Karla to be their celebrant and they were so much fun!
This couple got married at the beautiful Lake Farm Garden - Weddings, Events and Accommodation surrounded by the ones they love and love was all you felt. These two took everything in their stride and were so relaxed on the outside about their day and it made it such a cool ceremony to be apart of. Matty's vows were one to remember and had the best twist for a fun, light hearted way to say he was definitely committed to Karla no matter what comes their way.

Karla and Matty, thank you for having me and allowing me to bring you together as husband and wife. You are such an infectious couple and your three boys I know will keep you on your toes. I wish you nothing but the best!

My last wedding of the season and it was just what we all needed. Finally after a postponement these love birds tied the knot on Saturday and these pictures say it all.
Logan and Alaniah have a wonderful energy that is felt as soon as you enter a room with them and I am so glad they chose me to be their celebrant. This ceremony was an easy one to write and perform as the foundation they have already created was fun, energetic and perfect. I love seeing a groom full of emotion and Logan didn't disappoint! The tears were flowing as soon as the song began for her to walk down the aisle. Its not often I fight back tears of my own but this was a hard one.

Thank you so much Logan Jones and Alaniah Jones for giving me the best job in the world, helping you become husband and wife. I hope the future brings you nothing but incredible adventures that are full of love and fun.

No amount of rain was going to stop this wedding going ahead I can tell you that much !

This wedding for me was another special moment in time where I got to marry not only a beautiful couple but one I get to call family.

Kallum and Seoniad were not going to give up the beautiful garden wedding no matter what and I tell you what it was worth using the hair dryer to dry my shoes out for the next two days.
What and incredible couple who have the fairytale story of marrying a childhood sweetheart.

I have to admit I have been very quiet the last year but there was a reason behind it.
Every now and then we get an opportunity to follow our dreams and this is exactly what I did.
For the last year I have been working as a funeral director and loved every minute of it. Unfortunately my kids and family have to come first and I decided to put my career on hold.
This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life and it has taken me a while to come back to my celebrant work and give it some extra attention.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the last year and I promise this page will start to look a little more exciting 🥰

What a way to end my wedding season. Kyle and Jeana didn't let the rain stop them having an incredible day surrounded by those who love them the most. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room when these two committed themselves for the rest of their lives (including myself). Jeana's walk down the aisle was breathtaking and I have never had to take a moment to gather myself before starting a ceremony. It was a feeling I cant explain and these two have a love that is remarkable.
I had so much fun working with Kyle and Jeana, they are a couple that light up a room. Helping them create the perfect vows was something I couldn't do without sheading a tear they were raw, real and full of love. This by far has been a ceremony I will treasure for a long time to come.

Kyle and Jeana, your love is something to be proud of. You have the ability to achieve big things in your marriage and I cannot wait to see where this takes you. Welcome to the crazy world of marriage and I wish you nothing but happiness, always remember crazy is beautiful.

Mac and Nicole were just the type of couple you dream of working with as a celebrant. They have such an easy love that comes so effortlessly. There big day was exactly the same.
When I met with Mac and Nicole I knew they would be a couple to go the distance. The connection I felt between them was something I haven't felt before and it made writing and performing their ceremony an absolute breeze. With little man Carter cheering on his mum and dad these two tied the knot surrounded by the ones who love them the most.

I have so much I could say about Adam and Georgia but there is only so much I can put on a post.
LOOK AT THIS COUPLE!
Adam and Georgia had me buzzing with excitement the minute she told me she was wearing a pant suit. This couple from the day I met them showed me that true love really does exist, like no s**t it really does. These two people have every kind of love we search for in life. Someone who makes us feel safe, giddy and most importantly like our true self.
Being with these two as they took the leap into married life was just an absolute blessing and I would do it all over again. Surrounded by the ones they love, sharing such a precious moment in time we could not have asked for a better day.

Adam and Georgia, I am so glad you found each other. Your one hell of a couple and your emotion through your vows showed how much you mean to one another. You are a couple that will achieve big things, don't stop taking the risk!

David and Jessica didn't just make the day great they completely rocked it !
This couple not only finally tied the knot but they created a whole new family with their two families becoming one. It is such a special thing to watch blended families join through love and this couple smashed it !
For farmers David and Jessica having their groomsman in red bands was the natural choice and only showed their personality further. This couple are incredible and they were such a delight to work with.

David and Jessica, you are going to go far with your ability to bring humour into any situation. Your love for each other was very noticed and I know you will have nothing but laughter and happiness in your married life.

Wow Jono and Julia are a couple that everyone wants to be. These two have such a warm heartfelt kind of love. I don't say this lightly but these two are soul mates.

Coming back home from the south island to get married in their home town was extremely special and we all felt the love in the air with these two. Imagine moving all the way to the other side of the country and falling in love with someone from the same place you came from! This story was one to share and I was so honored to stand with Jono and Julia as they promised each other the world.
Jono was an absolute champion and remembered his vows word for word!

I put up a story a while ago saying change was happening.
It finally has so now I can explain what that means.

I was given an opportunity I could not refuse and therefore have decided to go back to work full time. This DOES NOT mean I am giving up being a marriage celebrant and it DOES NOT mean I do not welcome your enquiries.

How it affects you:

It just means I now have limited spaces for weddings each year. This means if you are looking at getting married and would like to have me as your celebrant contacting me as soon as possible to ensure a space is a big thumbs up!

Later in the week I will put up a post saying what my availability for 2021 and 2022 is.

I welcome every single enquiry and I will work hard to ensure I still can get people married because I have to say its a pretty cool job.

I'm Chantelle and I marry soulmates, best friends and everything in between.

Being a celebrant was a no brainer for me and this is who I am. I have the idea that every couple is different and therefore their ceremony should be as well. Your wedding day is something to celebrate but most of all it should be enjoyed and I take you choosing me to be your celebrant a bit of a big deal.

You trust in your celebrant to bring the love, laughs and excitement and I not only promise this to my clients but I also promise the feeling of comfort, uniqueness and perfection. Your big day is about YOU and that is all you will get with my ceremonies.

I will always be me and I want you to do the same, this day should not be awkward, scary or daunting. Lets have fun, lets celebrate you as a couple and most important lets get you hitched!

When I first met Jason and Tamara I saw something. It wasn’t your typical loved up couple. Not only did they have a feeling of love in the air but they had a serious sense of family. This was what made marrying Jason and Tamara in their parents backyard smelling the roses the most exciting. The eyes got watery and it was an absolute honour to make these two husband and wife.
