The RESULTS ARE IN!!
The EAST LONDEN – EASTERN CAPE Team win with a WHOPPING BIG 16.3 Ton Food Tower! Congratulations to the East Londen – EC Team co-ordinators Marion & Matthew Peake and their amazing team! The TROPHY for the most successful co-ordinators and provincial food tower is yours for the year!
Combining the 2.5 ton Port Elizabeth – Gqeberha Tower, co-ordinated by Jeantelle Price and Samantha Dunlop and their team, the Eastern Cape Power Tower of Kindness Totals 18.8 tons this Year!
LIMPOPO leaps into 2nd place with a fabulous 5.9 ton Tower! Congratulations to Team Co-ordinators Jolene Du Bruyn and Theuns De Jager, supported by their team.
Third place goes to Gauteng, with a 2.650 ton Tower, co-ordinated by Chantal Cloete and Mpho Nyangintsimbi.
The Western Cape, co-ordinated by Liezl Kotze & Northern Cape, co-ordinated by Chrisna Roos tie in 4th place.
KZN & the Garden Route are determined to reach for the stars next year.
A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every titleholder, volunteer and sponsor that put in the effort to make this possible.
It has been an exhausting but worthwhile task, with laughter, tears and wrestling along the way, but WE DID IT!!. Even my phone is looking forward to a rest! Hehehe
We may never meet the people whose prayer we are an answer to; a prayer for a meal/s; this in itself is true Agape ( from Ancient Greek ἀγάπη (agápē)) is "the highest form of love, charity" and "the love of God for human beings and of human beings for God". It describes brotherly love, as it embraces a profound sacrificial love that transcends and persists regardless of circumstance.)
Nothing worthwhile is easy, people may not realise how much work goes into such a project behind the scenes. As the national director I would like to extend my appreciation to those who lightened my load.
In 2022 we were able to donate to 26 other charity organizations, besides RoleModels Foundation NPO., as well as numerous individuals. Follow our social media pages to see the impact of this year’s Power Towers Food Drive.
Alone we can achieve limited success, but together we can positively impact a community, and even our country.
Thank you for being a fellow-hope-bearer.
