This is for you if:
1. You work for yourself as a freelancer in your own time but need some steady stable monthly income.
2. You are a student who needs to earn some income.
3. Preferably live in the Southern Suburbs.

The Job:
We are seeking to hire a responsible sales person to work at our stall at the food Markets.

The days required to work are:
Saturday - Start 6:30am until 15:30/16:00pm.
Sunday Start 6:45 am until 15:30/16:00pm.

You would arrive at the business premises and collect the ready produce and then proceed to the market location.
Then set up the tables etc at the market keeping presentation in mind, creating a warm friendly atmosphere whilst serving and selling to the clients.
Keep the area in working and tidy at all times.
There is an assistant to help with the set up, selling, washing dishes etc.
You would be responsible for the money, selling, building relationships - all in all the general managing of the stall and the day.
At the end of the day pack up and load the car etc.
The day ends with a return to the business premises with the remaining stock as well as the rest of the equipment.

Start Date: Immediate.

Salary: R400 per shift plus petrol

After almost eleven years of calling the Earth fair market in Tokai our home, this week we say goodbye.
It's a little sad but if 2020 taught us anything it is to take stock, go with the flow and trust!'

Both our markets are remaining open, with very clear and strict covid regulations in place. There is plenty of space to roam around and to sit outside.

All our items are available for take away.

We are open every Saturday from 9-3.

Now more than ever small businesses, such as ours, need your support. We are seeing more and more business closing and it is heart breaking to watch.
Please consider buying your groceries from one of our local vendors, and your take away treats from the many many food traders.

Please note that WE ARE OPEN every Wed, Fri & Saturday.

We have received a lot of calls and messages regarding a post the City of Cape Town made about markets being closed indefinitely. This is only for CITY-RUN markets and not privately owned markets like ours.

We take your health very seriously and try and provide a safe environment for all our customers.

We take all the necessary measures for your safety:

1. Masks are compulsory
2. Covid contact tracing
3. Temperature checks
4. Sanitising of hands at the entrance
5. Sanitiser on all tables
6. Santiser and hand wash in bathrooms
7. Tables get sanitised frequently
8. Traders sanitise after each client
9. All traders wear a masks
10. All doors and windows are open
11. Our venue is 20% naturally ventilated

Earth Fair Market trading hours are:

Wednesday 4pm to 9pm
Friday 4pm to 10pm
Saturday 9am to 3pm
