I love the table decor and flowers of Lisa and Christo’s wedding. I have been trying to make a habit of eating dinner at the table with candles. Tonight as I sat in the quiet, enjoying my food after a hard weeks work, I thought about so many people who are in the wedding industry and the effect the coronavirus has on them. I do on-the-day coordination on the side and I have realised these past weeks how privileged I am to have a job that is mostly unaffected in this uncertain time. My heart goes out to everyone in the wedding industry💛. I hope you can also light candles at dinner and know that this challenging time shall pass.

When I think of Lisa and Christo, I just want to start typing in Afrikaans. The best words to describe them are “plat-op-die-aarde”, “lekker mense!” It was such a treat to do their wedding; they were amazing and so easy-going, even when the weather threw a few curveballs their way. This definition of colourful made me think about the family and friends that we celebrate a wedding with. We truly 'have much' in special relationships and each person's uniqueness adds a different colour to your life which makes it bright.
