Calvin Potgieter, aka GREMLIN, is a professional party-rocker and an award-winning DJ from Cape Town, South Africa. After moving to the United States after high school, he spent time studying music production at the legendary Scratch DJ Academy in New York - founded by Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. During that time he organized and played at multiple events in Miami and New York. After 3 years in the

USA, he returned to Cape Town to study at SAE Institute under the guidance of the iconic Grandmaster Ready D. With an abundance of experience and knowledge from the American music culture, his style has evolved into a multi-cultural, genre-bending and energy-driven explosion of Hip-Hop, Trap, and House. In 2016, GREMLIN competed in the biggest modern DJ competition in the world - the Red Bull Thre3styles. He became the champion of Cape Town and represented the Mother City in the national final in Joburg. Fast Facts:
